Their problem is lack of depth, they may have started okay, but the longer the season goes on, the more problems they're going to have.
One year left on Boyd's contract, so the alternative is seeing him go for peanuts in Jan or next summer. He's 28 now so this is pretty much our last chance to make any real money for a replacement. I really like Boydy and he's been great for us, but this is just good business for all parties.
Good point. I thought that version was by Cleopatra (comin' at ya) but you obviously know your daphne and celeste.
Yeah I think id take £3mill for him, seems a nice guy and might be missed in the dressing room! But I think with what ive read on here, apart from the great musical knowledge on here, I agree he has to go!
If there's a £3m bid Bruce will probably talk to Boyd, say his first team options will be fairly limited. Boyd will then have to ask himself "Should I stay or should I go?". I wouldn't mind him staying as cover but he has looked more off the pace than other squad members and £3m is good value when he's out of contract soon.
Good move for him really, if Burnley have Faith in him and Dyche is Head Over Heels for the guy, then the deal is Gold.
Boyd was Dovestons favourite player the lads going to be heart broken. If theres one thing i cant stand to see its When Dove's Cry
