Well at least based on the weekends display City have got quite a player. See article in the local Peterborough press. http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/...-the-pick-of-a-brilliant-posh-bunch-1-4806077
Posh chairman confirmed it is a 7 figure fee on twitter @slatez88: @dmac102 club website says he moved for a 7 figure sum. Is this a error? Cos damn its a good bit of business if its correct! @DMAC102: @slatez88 Nope thats correct Jake.
Charlie you've just been asked on the Leicester board if Koren is injured and you replied 'he might as well be' but on here your basically saying no one including Koren should be dropped for Boyd. Im getting mixed signals from ye boy.
Nah, it's easy, imagine the country is a Table, just drive past Leicester and carry on up!!!! to the top.
Nevermind Boyd and Koren. Tell us whats going on with your team taking Harry Kane on loan ? Are there problems injury wise with Chris Wood still ? Or has Nigel run out of patience with Waggy, Vardy and Futacs now ? Norwich City sent Kane back to Spurs a while back as he was dire by all accounts ?
Just because a player was dire on one loan doesn't mean he will continue to be. Cameron Stewart was poor at Yeovil on loan and yet with us now he's........oh.....damn....wrong example.......
Norwich sent the lad back because he got injured. They've since signed Premier League quality players. Spurs have signed him on a long term contract today so they think he's good enough. Chris Wood is back from injury and back among the goals but like Fosse said on our board...take him out the side and our shots/goals ratio is shocking. Wood is a one chance one goal man and hopefully Kane is too. Nugent is a quality footballer and he leads the line really well, but he's not a goalscorer. Waggy and Vardy are Fryatt esque in the sense they need to be playing every week for their confidence and they're not better than Wood or Nuge. Hopefully Kane gives us that extra goal threat we need.
I thought Boyd was a winger. I've just seen him described as a striker. What's his actual prefered positon? WillKoren now be back in midfield and Evans back on the bench?
Poor post even for you AKCJ, what does Kane offer you that Nugent doesn't?? You sign these sort of players to strengthen your squad, weather Boyds better than Koren or not its another very good option to have.
He was asked on Humberside and said he didn't mind. Said Peterbrough play 3-5-2 like us and he's played in all 3 of striker, midfielder & out wide.
City have struggled a bit against some of the league's more physical sides - I suspect Boyd is a stronger and more aggressive option than Robbie Koren for such games. Also, Steve Bruce does seem to have concerns about some players' ability to play more than once a week and Boyd's presence will allow him to rotate the squad a bit more without necessarily changing the formation.
So Boyd's here already and can play at the weekend then? I've just got in and this is the first i've heard of it.
Did you just decide not to read? Like I said. We only have one 'goalscorer' in our team. I.e. Someone who you can rely on to get you a goal every game. Nugent isn't a goalscorer. Hopefully Kane is. Make more sense?
If Kane was that sort of player, he would be either be playing for Spurs or would have excelled at Norwich.
