Bob Arum in an interview with iFL was asked why the Lomachenko - Campbell has not been announced yet. Arum replied that the deal had been done, but Eddie Hearn didn't want the news released just yet because he'd been having troubles selling tickets for the Dillian Whyte fight on the 20th of this month. Matchroom is hoping to get the Colombian Oscar Rivas who's ranked WBA 7, WBC 10, IBF 7, WBO 5 & IBO 8.

Eddie Hearn had better pull his bloody finger out and announce it. Got my hotel booked in London

Tyson Fury has announced that he'll be fighting Jarrell Miller on October 5 in New York, then Deontay Wilder on February 22. That fight will be in either New York or Las Vegas.

So Jarrell Miller gets a big fight on the back of his drugs cheating, unbelievable.

Boxing needs a severe clean up.

What was the Fury failed drug test all about, was it recreational drugs or performance enhancing that he failed?

Performance enhancers. He kind of got away with it because he had 'quit' the sport already so his ban got backdated for the time he was inactive. Complete joke

Both Toppy. Cocaine and Nandrolone, an anabolic steroid.

A quote from Wiki.

On 12 December, UKAD issued a statement,

Taking into account the delays in results management that meant charges were not brought in respect of the nandrolone findings until June 2016, and the provisional suspensions that Tyson and Hughie Fury have already effectively served, the two year period of ineligibility is backdated to 13 December 2015, and therefore expires at midnight on 12 December 2017.

FFS.

It annoys me how everyone is creaming themselves over Fury like he’s some sort of Ali lately. His mental turnaround is amazing and I really do mean that- I really do think that’s a fantastic story- but he did get away with a lot. Nandrolone FFS.

It’s a dangerous sport, without people on substances. His reputation seems unaffected, which seems wrong.

Him fighting Miller just about takes the biscuit!!!

It kind of got overlooked because he'd already walked away from boxing and because he'd been open about his mental health issues and cocaine use people didn't really pay too much attention to the Nandrolone. By the time he actually started to deal with the failed test he had decided he was ready for a comeback and the powers that be decided that his 'self imposed' absence from the ring was punishment enough and back dated his ban, meaning he could effectively return immediately without any real punishment.

Although ****e, heavyweight boxing is popular at the moment and money talks so bans are lenient to say the least. Same with Canelo, he's the golden goose so was forgiven for cheating. When there's not so much money at stake bans can be severe, just ask Kid Galahad.

The WBA Regular Middleweight Champion Rob Brant fought the former Champion Ryota Murata last night in Osaka. Muata lost his title to Brant in Vegas last October.

The film freezes at the end of the first round and returns with a minute if the second round gone.

Much better than the farce of a card in Saudi Arabia last night

Yep, pretty crappy Smoke. I know that Dubois and Gorman are a couple steps from the top tier, but I'm really looking forward to their clash tonight. And hopefully the Vargas - Kameda fight will be ok.

I agree pal, really looking forward to Gorman/Dubois. Really is a 50/50 and Joe Joyce awaits the winner if all goes to plan. Quite interesting fights away from the top table at heavyweight

The Kovalev - Yarde WBO title fight has been confirmed for Chelyanbinsk on August 24. Is Yarde biting off too much? He bangs hard and as Kova has lost 3 of his last 6 and been decked 3 times against Eleider Alkvarez, maybe a boil over could be on the cards. Of course if Kova is anywhere near his best, it could be ugly for Yarde.

4-11 Kovalev.
2-1 Yarde.

Tough one to call, could say it's a bit soon for Yarde but also argue it's just the right time to catch Kovalev. Definitely an interesting one. I wonder what that will mean for Canelo now Kovalev fight has gone, will he give Callum Smith a go? GGG 3 or Andrade?
