Yes, because for the 90 minutes in isolation it was very poor. What else am I supposed to do?!
Say “they’re ****e, but alls fine because they’ve been better on other days”?!

I just don't think there's anything wrong with saying what we can see... there's definitely some issues in the performances .

Overall I'm saying it's way better than anticipated but I can see the rough patch getting worse before it gets better.

Is that fair enough?

Yes, that's far more reasonable than suggesting there is a rot - which would indicate a fundamental problem that will continue to get worse and worse. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Now, enough with the negativity. We have a home match vs struggling bindippers and then a cup final to look forward to. <cheers>

Lol seems the word rot doesn't have many fans... Jesus Christ I thought everyone was happy

I'm frustrated at the performance tonight but i'm still buzzing with how we are doing overall, and like Trips said these could still be important points come the end of the season.

If you play ****e just make sure you don't lose the game.

Most of the other draws we've had have been from missed chances not because we've played poorly, and even tonight Gordon missed a ****in sitter, we haven't been scraping draws.

Well, when rot means to decay and/or decompose, then yeah, it's total nonsense in the context of NUFC.

Yes, you're right, we might not be in our best form, and yes, it might get worse before improving (we don't know yet).

But it's definitely not a rot.

Now please stop the WUMming mate. <cheers>

The word rot was just easier than saying things are going to get worse before they get better.

No wum involved like I say overall whatever happens once the dust settles people will realise it's been a great season.

They might also get better sooner - like beating Liverpool and / or Man United.
Let's see. <cheers>

Feel like the lads look a bit knackered stamina wise, it's like the opposite of the Bruce days, dunno how we can rest with Liverpool and the final coming up like.

The other side of the coin is the fact this squad simply isn't equipped to code with competing in 4 competitions.

Top 4 or europa league even more so will hinder league performance.

How man players would/will Newcastle need this summer?
