From a Liverpool echo reporter on twitter:

#LFC have accepted QPR offer. Deal worth around £12million including add ons for Borini. Player granted permission to hold talks

Something is seriously ****ed if he ends up at QPR for a bid less than we had accepted!

If he goes QPR we can safely say he's a mercenary, and a ****ing pussy.

Combo of wages & bird seems likely, given his self-confessed bond with SAFC.

Havent we still got the money set aside for him to go for Welbeck?

Gonna be really pissed off if we don't get a decent striker in.

Liverpool have accepted a 13 million offer from QPR, If he goes there he will be in a worse team than us, the mind boggles.

SRN saying he's off to join Saggy chops. Dont get it meself like. Wtf?! 10m?? It can only be cos his lass wants to be in London eh. But 10m!
We have totally wasted the summer trying to get him in. Poyet should have took the hint weeks ago he didnt want to come!

i'll be ****ing wounded

Unfuckingbelievable if he joins Saggy Chops for 10 mill.

If he ****s off to QPR, Poyet better have a good reason for covering for him or I'm going to stamp my feet and look at Gus very crossly. :p

A bit weird that like. From what Gus has been saying it`s not us, it`s not Liverpool, it`s not Borini so all that`s left is the agent. One of the lads on here (Nads or Disco I think) warned us us about that bloke.

Players who make career moves cos of their birds rarely work out like, has ANYONE who turned us down for a London side ever really made it big? Not that I can think of.

If he chooses to go their, I'll be utterly delighted we didn't get him, as it means we all misread his mentality.

Also, I ask, why did we waste 9 weeks on the deal, having clearly bid over the odds? Shocking **** up by the club if we get left short cos of this.

Now ssn saying he's heading to QPR - this would be a right kick in the teeth

If we do indeed have the money, it will still be spent on an alternative surely? Unless we don't and we pulled out weeks ago and spent most of it on Rodwell which is why it's taken soo long. We withdrew our 14m bid and submitted a loan offer instead, Liverpool won't accept our loan offer, they want to sell.

It's a possibility which is starting to look more than plausible. All depends on if we buy. If we only bring loans in now I'm certain we've been dealt a ****ty budget.

If this was the case, then surely Gus wouldn't have kept repeating his belief he was coming.

Liverpool were open about their desire to sell, a loan was never on to us, having had him already.

Something to do with FFP according to various journo's on twitter says we cant go for him...

Not unless we sell someone for an actual fee

This plus the number of players we seem to have nearly signed before they decided to go somewhere else at the last minute.

I wonder whether the negotiating team need a bloody good shake up.

If QPR get Borini then the world's gone mad. We can't even attract players who have spent a successful year here already?!

It's looking like Hull will have Hernandez, QPR will have Borini, and we won't reinforce up top at all. We're going to fall behind the teams around us.

Talk of a loan for Borini has come up in the press regularly since Rodwell came

Time will tell. Now Borini is off I expect a big permanent signing instead, proof that we haven't been diddled on our transfer Budget and dispelling my theory well and truly. fingers crossed.
