Liverpool are a striker short at the moment. They are in for a couple of new lads, and as we all know, transfers take a while to sort themselves out. Like any good manager, Rodgers won't allow Borini to leave until a replacement comes in. If Borini gets injured again, it could scupper any chance of him moving out before January, so I'm working under the assumption, that if Borini plays, he won't be coming here. The fact that he isn't on the bench today, tells me he isn't fit enough, or he is killing time until Falcao or whoever the new man is, arrives at Liverpool. I think we're all getting a tad paranoid. Have faith.

Rhodes could be as **** as fletcher. We need a creative midfielder not a new forward.
 
The more I read about this lad, the less I want him to play for us .. time to move on as I think he is taking the pi55 unfortuantely.
 
Don't think saying he loves London means he's going to sign for a London club. That's the problem with social networking sites, it's the land of the boring dull irrelevant opinions that have no point to anything. To read into everything that's said on those sites will send you crackers.

My opinion now is the 'Borini' word should be banned from the Sunderland site and we should stop feeding his narcissistic ego - I'm sick of reading about him - move onto someone who wants to play here

Harsh fella, he's kept his mouth shut through this entire saga. But by all means let the media from your opinion for you. You must think Gus is a lair too, after all he's the only person who's provided any actual quotes on this transfer and he say's there's no problem in regards to Borini wanting to come. So the papers who've provided speculation that's fits their agenda without providing any proof at all are right and our manager who's taken the time to inform us with information and actual quotes on what he can tell us is telling fibs. Sad. :(
