I know that our current Moderator @Dick Plumb1 is keen on Whitstable.

Can you advise him on property down there <whistle>
Whitstable is fine during the day and early evening but come night time its awash with feral wannabe gangsters running into shops mob handed and robbing the places , if confronted they’d attack , absolute cowards ! Luckily I live outside Whitstable and have never had the pleasure of bumping into them

I am pleased that you are not a pub snob like one of our members, I can only assume disposable income stretches further in Hull than the North East of Brazil<laugh>.

Can you still get a beer for under £4.50 in your gaff?
£2.50 for Fosters (door ajar) and £2.30 for John Smiths bitter. We go to a pub near the ground after the match and it's £3.50 for Fosters. :emoticon-0138-think

On a serious level, this is a shame as minus this Whitstable is very pleasant.

Is the door always ajar, in the winter months I'd have thought the place gets a bit chilly?

Thanet has gone. That whole Kent coast area has.
In the early 90's I'd go to Dover Priory a few times a year and do a bit of groundhopping in Belgium and Holland.

The place was more moody than Ivor after a dodgy kebab, f*** knows what it must be like now.

Have to go a long with that, we'll have tents in Bromley High Street by the time I get over there in March.
