I read a fair bit and really like Davi Gemmell. But for biographies I really enjoyed the Guvnor about Lenny McLean

Snap! My favourite of his is "Winter Moon", helluva book. "Watchers" is another brilliant story. And I really enjoyed the "Odd Thomas" series as well.
Haven't done that one yet- will source it. He seems to have a unique caterogory - it's not ''horror'' or ''science fiction'' although it contains elements of those - I call it unusialist

I don’t often read autobiographical stuff but “ Massively violent and decidedly average” from our own Lee Howey was a good read and brutally honest with good humour.

I don't read many autos, but did try the Peter Crouch book, "How to be a footballer". There are two, I read the first. Very, very good!

Knowing a bit about you, Tees

The grammar is embarrassing, but you'll not be bothered about that and I think that you'd enjoy it :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thoroughly enjoyed Gareth Thomas autobiography so much so my Wife decided to that if I had enjoyed it so much she would see what it was like , must say she is not really in to sport that much but she thoroughly enjoyed it as well .

I've read all the LJ Ross books based on the north east and enjoyed them all

think thats why I liked them as I knew where they were set and could vision where the murders took place,

She has one that is set in St Ives, and same I could see where they were talking about.
