Was shocked to hear the booing, I know it was frustrating to see that many chances missed but it's a little early for that. Also seen a couple of City fans square up outside the ground because they disagreed over the performance, funny thing was someone walked past them an said 'that's it lads, only 45 games to go'.
It's obviously not right that there was booing after the first game, but it's a continuation from last year where we ****ed up so many home games in a row people got frustrated, and yesterday was no different. Pure frustration.
I was in E7, on the row behind me some so called fans spent the full match slagging off our players, they did not appreciate anything the team did all through the game. At the end of the match the bood the team off the pitch and chuntered amongst themselves that City where s***e. They may have worn the shirt but true fans never.
I think I might know exactly who you're talking about Undoubtedly there was booing - it seems to be a cultural thing now that when most teams lose a game, no matter how well they play, people boo 'because we lost.'
I didn't know there was any booing, until I saw this thread, very disappointing. Anyone who hears booing at the next game has my permission to give them a slap.
Some people! there are two old guys who sit near me, and the only time they are quiet is if City are playing well or on top. Talking to other fans, this is not uncommon. Why do these dickheads bother to come?
They might just be booing the away team and fans as they have to suffer and witness the win celebrations, doesnt actually mean they're booing their own team. But if they are, i agree it is out of order.
You must be near me. Do you mean the young lad who got a gob like a drain. The same one who went at half time last seasons boro game. Row k?
