Not really.. He's had nothing but support since getting the job. Now surely after half a year or so in the job, fans can call out the crap when they see it.
I get where he's coming from asking the boos to be directed at him and not his players, he's trying to protect them. But id say the boos on tuesday night werent directed at the players, it was more at liam's tactics and pissing around at the back. A manager who's had 6 months at a club can surely teach the players that if plan a isnt working, here's plan b.
If he was any other random manager, who was an ex Brighton coach, or Rooneys no.2 at Derby, if he had no links to us whatsoever, they'd be a lot more fans on his back than he has right now, and imo it would be justified.
