Looks like we might be after Middlesboro manager Aitor Karanka as a new manager come summer , helped the "Special One " at Real Madrid .It must be true because it's from sports direct.
This guys got a few connections . Got no problems with the Bony article being well off the mark . But landing this guy and maybe getting Allen back , I'm hoping . Funny how these guys are the only source all the time , but articles are pretty detailed in there hersay. I really do think they have an" exclusive " source that is or was close to the team .
Would we want / need Joe back ? personally I don't think so and if he came back who would he likely replace ?
Just want to bring him back on the cheap so we can sell him for 15 million again lol . My theory is if , and it's a big if , the Spanish armada does leave in the summer we could more than use him . Not playing much were he is , he'ed come back in a heartbeat I think .
What you have to remember is that Rangel is their mentor, he'll keep them in line for sure!.................
He's been out recently with an injury , I think the scousers are beginning to warm to the little man , Lucas appears to be a bit injury prone and Gerrards not getting any younger ( the bastard keeps going though ) so next season maybe a turning point for Joe ?
.....Good to see he was on the bench for the battle yesterday, having him start would be like playing with one man down, well done Garry Monk!............
What's he saying Pagan, it's all French to me?.....Mind he looks a very happy chappy to me, he's going nowhere!...............
What's the feeling regarding JdG being here next season ? Personally I don't think he deserves of all the **** thrown at him on here. He almost got the winner last night with his shot from distance - which is something he is good at in fairness and he also did ok against Cardiff. If we don't get him back I won't lose much sleep but we will need to replace him. Do you think Ki will be back here ?
His performance off the bench last night was impressive. Let's see what the leader can do with 'Jono' from now until the end of the season. And yes, I hope Ki comes back.
I'm indifferent towards him, if he goes I won't lose any sleep, if he stays he has to improve and get stuck into the dirty work, at the minute he's a luxury we can do without, yes 1 game in 6 he'll pull off a fabulous free kick or shot, but then will give the ball away constantly, it's like he's a Premier Mark Gower, though in fairness to Gower he could pass the ball!..................
I'm not de Guzman's biggest fan to say the least but take a look at his passing stats - bit better than you make out.
His chance creation when deployed as an attacking midfielder is not good enough. Typified by the Aston Villa away game we had 70% of the possession, Shelvey & Canas played well behind him but Wilfried barely had a half chance all game. The only bit of creativity came from Pablo when he set up Lamah to equalise from the left wing. I thought he was impressive in his run out last night though let's just see what the new leader can do with him.
I remember the press hailing Gower stats as the best passer of the ball at Swansea??..................... please log in to view this image According to football data supplier Opta, Mark Gower (right) has created more goal-scoring opportunities per game (3.46) this season than Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney (left) - MAIL 21 November 2011 We should have kept Mark Gower according to the opta stats that the mail got hold of?............... Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/mos...Gower-Who-best-Premier-League-footballer.html Clearly stats do not tell the whole story..............
Yes indeed, some players are at the cut and thrust end, where quick thinking is vital and where they will lose some of the 50/50 tackles, but their goal threat makes up for their losses in these battles, as long as the goal threat is good enough, Michu, Siggy, etc!.............
