I understand JR was on the verge of signing a new deal, but a certain caveat was not agreeable to all parties.

JR will soon be sampling the delights of a traditional seaside town. But probably not Blackpool.

The 3pm news has been delayed until later today or tomorrow morning.

they're going to do what my solicitor does - inform me of a update (whereby he has done F all) at ten to 5 so that i dont have a chance to reply with expletives. he then doesnt have to listen to them.

Couldn't reply to other thread because it was censored:mad:...

I appreciate Ponders sharing what he's heard, and quite frankly his information can't be any worse than stuff I've seen on another forum ...

Believe me, some of it so... well even these two it would be too fantastical...

Ponders is a good chap & would have taken the thread in the joking spirit it was intended.

Certain people on here are getting very precious.

We will be ordered to wipe our feet before posting next.

Agreed Vol...!!

Ponders can take a joke. In fact I wouldn't mind betting that he's sat at home in his pants reading this thread and cracking up... in his Boycie laugh of course.

First it's Trigger, now Boycie. Who next? Micky Pearce?

It is true, though - I can occasionally take a joke, although sometimes I throw a paddy and disappear for a month or two. However, I shall remain and pass on my titbits of news as I receive them, and I can confirm that a few highly surprising developments are in the offing.

Underpants, indeed! I'm an elephant willy-warmer man. <yikes>

P.S) I doff my cap to Super. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Bloody hell PEA, how did you end up with a job like that?

I never knew elephants needed their willies warmed...... then again they do come from Africa or India.... there can be nothing worse than walking around 'tackle out' in an English winter <ok>

:emoticon-0136-giggl. It's better in the winter, AllHell... greater shrinkage...

Charlton Athletic is obviously very broken at the moment.

But can Bob Fix It?

A couple of new songs:

Jeepers Creepers,
Where d'you get Bob Peeters????

Or,

We all dream of a team of Polish Petes
A team of Polish Petes
A team of Polish Petes.

Or the old Brighton song......

:emoticon-0159-music We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....We're **** and we know we are.....etc :emoticon-0159-music

or

:emoticon-0159-musicWe're ****ter than you......We're ****ter than you......we're ****...We're ****...etc:emoticon-0159-music

As you can see my expectations under the 'Pieman Peeeeeters' is very low...... bottom by a margin with a team full of uncommitted SL loans/short term transfers

Except for our first black player in Walker, when has an ex-Wall ever done well for us at any level?

Everyone seen the Jose Riga interview last night ?

Impossible to escape the conclusion that, one again, the accident prone disaster that is CAFC took another mighty step towards shooting itself in the foot yesterday. The handling of the whole episode has been a disaster. Back to Square One again this summer with an inexperienced and lets be polite, 'untested' foreign coach who has a CV which is a lot thinner than his waistline.

Penny for the clown Richard Murray's thoughts today - he has turned CAFC into little more than a holding pen for Network RD employees.

Your optimism is infectious, Vol.

Let's face it..... we are no longer Charlton Athletic FC .... we are now Network RD (England) FC.... a subsiduary of Standard Leige FC

Agreed. Sobering & depressing.

Read a brilliant post from a Charlton fan elsewhere, saying that he wouldn't be bothering to buy his kids new Charlton shirts this summer, what was the point when they were only Network loan players names to put on the back- he could feel no affinity with them.

My expectations are not that high, but not because of Peeters... He could prove a success, who knows, but Roley replacing Riga, a manager who hit all his targets, doesn't make sense... Is this the way Roley likes to reward his staff..?

Only one man is lowering my expectations...
