Probably, I used to really hate scousers because my Dad is one and I've never really had much to do with him. Think it was an anger and detachment issue <laugh>

I'm a lot more calm with you lot these days since he's mulling over an offer of 3 million for some land that he owns. All is forgiven Daddy :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

And who says Mackems are shallow?....:)

Erm, I'm a Geordie mate...

Anyways, it's not shallow, it should be a crime what I'm doing. I hate the ****er, always have and always will. I'll use him for what I can get out of him, absolutely. He deserves it for the way he treated my mother <ok>
Just think of it as an extremely localised inheritance tax. We're all in this together or something.

My bad...apologies...

P.s. Hope he doesn't follow this forum...<laugh>

Am I right in thinking that you're a Sunderland fan from Newcastle, SAFC83?
Most people that I know use the terms Mackem and Geordie for the clubs' fans, regardless of where they're from.
Not entirely accurate, admittedly.

Leave this one to me, lads. I learned a lot about their dialect whilst wandering around on the Sunderland board, offering my sympathies at a time of recent crisis. I'll deal with this...

Safc83 lad! Aalreet , me friend! Hoo are things? Ah hear tha yee might be coming into an inheritance. Well, weh Southern lads waad leik te get wor thieving hands on aal of it, so please kindly hand it ower . There's a canny good chap!

I'm from South Tyneside. Half way between Newcastle and Sunderland. North Tyneside is all Newcastle, South Tyneside is 50/50. We are all Geordies though. People from County Durham are Mackems and that's also a 50/50 split.

So at the games on a Saturday, there's thousands of Geordies at the Stadium Of Light and vice versa.

I don't know anybody that talks like that! There's probably still a few kicking about that do, but they will be on North Tyneside, a place I'm not really familiar with. Newcastle supporters, not Sunderland. <ok>

See, when I talk like that on the Sunderland board, they don't bat an eye-lid. I pass as one of the natives. Mind, it has taken me quite a while to master the language, of course.
