Easy for you to say as a supporter of a team who's in it every year. We've qualified for Europe twice in my lifetime, in 2003 we went out in the first round of the old UEFA cup to Steaua Bucharest and this time we've failed to make group stages. I just hope it's not another 12year wait.
Hopefully, but not got too much hope for Jay, not many players who rely on pace come back from that injury but fingers crossed. More important to sort our defence out n start playing on the deck again instead of the long ball we've seen so far this year.
Europe can be pretty harsh and the early stages often see English teams go up against settled sides, when they're still not up to speed. The Danish Superliga might not be up to much, but they've had a few more games than us and Midgetland (or whatever they're called) are top. I actually thought that Southampton were going to make it to the group stages at least, especially after such a convincing last round. One bad day and it can all be over, though. Bit **** after all that hard work getting there. Still, it could be worse. Aston Villa were knocked out of the 2009 qualifier by Rapid Vienna on away goals. They made it back for 2010, though. They were subsequently knocked out in the qualifier by Rapid Vienna on aggregate, having missed a penalty that would've put them through on away goals. If you do make it back next season, then just hope that you don't get the Danes again!
I have no sympathy for either Saints or West Ham. Both sets of fans were giving it large, for the best part of last season, daring to take the piss out of Spurs, because they each had the season of their lives! Well, I suspect that both sets of fans are feeling a little bit foolish about all of that, right now!
Spurs are ****e HIAG Worst thing about Spurs, except their tops being a nightmare for London mums to wash, is that they have been destroying football manager for years, by consistently splashing out on the in game heroes, only to prove they're actually ****. Soldado, finishing 17
2 games for Villarreal, 2 goals, 2 assists and six points. Shows what he can do when you play to his strengths. As for a Newcastle fan having a dig at Spurs, Carver may not have been the manager that you wanted, but he was the one that you deserved. It's a shame that you've got McClaren now, as he's actually quite good. I'm sure you'll **** him over somehow, though.
Who cares? We know we're ****, you guys are funny because you think you're decent! Go celebrate your new signing before the inevitable realisation this one is **** as well... It's not Soldado... But it is Son Heung-min, Soldado's South Korean cousin
... needs to shave his bonce ... when a man has two partings that meet behind his 'quiff' it's time to accept the inevitable ... uncomfortable viewing ... ... let it go Steve, let it go ...
... surely it was a case of Spurs being ... "Solda-dodo" ... (copyright Fosse promotions - commissions accepted)
You make it sound like you finished last season on our arse. There was 10 places between the teams. You have to accept that you're **** because of the overwhelming evidence. It still doesn't stop you all from thinking that you're secretly the biggest club in the world, for some unknown reason.
Yeah, total meltdown. I'm really angry. Everyone's happy for Soldado. He was totally professional for us and always gave 100%. He comes across as a nice bloke and it's good to see him scoring again. He'll be welcomed back to WHL with open arms when he returns. I'm just laughing at a Geordie calling anyone else ****e. You'll be abusing a club for having too many fat, shirtless moaners as fans next.
What is it with these Toon lads? I would have thought that them having been relegated, a few seasons ago, would have humbled them and taught them some manners, but, no! Saints and Spanners fans have learnt some manners after they were both dumped out of the Europa's qualification stages. Yeah, that's right! It takes a big club, with excellent depth in squad quality, to be able to finish every season either 4th or 5th and compete in Europe. Of course, that's something that The Toon will never, ever have to worry about! Good luck with your battle against relegation, this season, lads!
I love it when it goes wrong for the Mousers! It's like the silly ****ers really don't know that they are no longer a major power in domestic football.
