Actually, that Chess analogy was probably a little too generous for you HIAG.

Twister is more your level. You put yourself into awkward positions and then tie yourself up in knots trying to get out of it <ok>

You can't unwittingly put your King into check-mate...

Well, you can temporarily, but it's not allowed. Although the idea of him consistently playing the exact same move that would put him in check-mate, only to be told "you can't move there" and being forced to move it back while the opponent scratches his brow with increasing irritability, would be a very amusing analogy <ok>

If you're saying it's his only move, however, then it means it's a draw.

I can't imagine that Mousers are best pleased with Sterling. I thought Soldado was bad!

The Spuds are used to being an average mid-table shower of ****e, so there's an air of resigned acceptance on their board.

HIAG on the other hand though is m...m...m...meltdown personified <laugh>
 
There rarely is a meltdown on the Spurs board, even playing as badly as we have been. There have been a couple of spats, but that's mainly due to the fact that there are a couple of precious people on our board who don't seem to get the fact that the word "debate" includes the permission to criticise the team and the club. However, be that as it may, I cannot see that the Spurs board will become anything near the cesspit that the Gunners' board currently is.
