Why am I not surprised that you were a monitor?
Ink monitor! I bet you were Head Girl.
Bit of a know it all (there's a surprise) and corrected teachers so not popular there. Like to think I have mellowed.
I was dinner monitor at Chamberlayne Road County primary school when 11 - downhill all the way since those heady heights.
He is not that bad, could do a good job for the right team, he looked out of place when we lost at the Gaymex.

We take the piss out of Beddy sometimes, but I think belittling him is impossible - A man who has been that many types of monitor must only be admired
Hope that answers questions that were being posed about ambition. In fairness, with all that's happened to the poor guy it must have been a personal wrench to move away, but professionally the right move. The trouble with bereavement is that it often takes 6 months plus to kick in, so I hope he settles well down here.
BT - re ambition etc, the same accusation was very much levelled at MLT as you know. Thank goodness for his lack of it......!
