If we get to the end of the window and we haven't signed Hooper, who is our number 1 target, then I suspect we will try and go for Billy on loan with a view to making it permanent in the summer.
Looking like it'll be similar to the Gorkss deal, we stall waiting for other deals to happen and then somebody else nabs him.
We should give up on Hooper now and just go all out for Sharp and/or somebody else.

We could have had Gorkss, but chose to go another direction. He isn't that great imo.
I'm not saying that it hasn't worked out well for us anyway. Hooiveld's been fantastic.
Ironic that it could be Reading again.

A good player and a true gent both on and off the field.

Should we......... even though they promised him new contract talks which are not now going to go ahead between Hooper and Celtic? I gather he is not a happy Bunny as he was promised those because of the likely increase in wages from the likes of us...... Although I do agree it is still unlikely he will come to us.
It's true though. Sharp has proved by turning Leicester down that he's not interested in the money, so even if you offered him more than what we did, it wouldn't make any difference.
By all accounts, Sharp has made it clear that he wants to join someone who will provide him with a realistic chance of Premiership football - and you only need one look at the Championship table to see that that chance would be more realistic with us, than with you.
Why would he chose you over us? We're a much larger club than you, only in the last 10 years have you come to prominence.
