Both decent sides, so wouldn't be surprised if he was misguided enough to join Reading I refuse to get excited till it's done and dusted...more than half of all rumours are rubbish.

 

It's kind of a three horse race actully as he could still stay at doncaster .....

 

I think he will leave Donny in the summer after saving them from relegation.

 

If we get to the end of the window and we haven't signed Hooper, who is our number 1 target, then I suspect we will try and go for Billy on loan with a view to making it permanent in the summer.

 

I am still not convinced that we are or ever were seriously in for him.

 

Looking like it'll be similar to the Gorkss deal, we stall waiting for other deals to happen and then somebody else nabs him.

We should give up on Hooper now and just go all out for Sharp and/or somebody else.

 

Only one winner in that contest if we really want him...

 

We could have had Gorkss, but chose to go another direction. He isn't that great imo.

 

I'm not saying that it hasn't worked out well for us anyway. Hooiveld's been fantastic.

Ironic that it could be Reading again.

We didn't lose out last time. We CHOSE not to sign him.

 

To be honest you can have him.

A good player and a true gent both on and off the field.

However he isn't anything better than we already have and were trying to move forward.

 

Should we......... even though they promised him new contract talks which are not now going to go ahead between Hooper and Celtic? I gather he is not a happy Bunny as he was promised those because of the likely increase in wages from the likes of us...... Although I do agree it is still unlikely he will come to us.

 

It's true though. Sharp has proved by turning Leicester down that he's not interested in the money, so even if you offered him more than what we did, it wouldn't make any difference.

By all accounts, Sharp has made it clear that he wants to join someone who will provide him with a realistic chance of Premiership football - and you only need one look at the Championship table to see that that chance would be more realistic with us, than with you.

 

Their only 5 points behind us?.

 

Why would he chose you over us? We're a much larger club than you, only in the last 10 years have you come to prominence.
