Can't argue against most of that BT. Trouble with Sharp may be his Mrs wanting to stay close to where her son is.

Truth is, we just don't know - only he knows. Could well be the best thing in that situation is to get as far away from the area as possible, make a fresh start, get some glory, become a hero to some new fans etc. Only Billy Sharp will know.

I didn't say he was staying because of his loyalty to Donny, although he has shown a lot of loyalty to Donny by turning down Leeds, Burnley, Ipswich and yourselves to stay with us. Yes he did say it was because he wanted to stay with us at those times and that was before the sad loss of his son. I was saying I don't think he will go to another championship club. An established prem club then yes he probably would go.

Beddytare, you need to read things properly and not twist words to suit your own purposes. If you are having difficulties fully understanding written text there are many adult education classes that will help you with your problem. If you are still at school then maybe you should pay more attention in class.

The last thing that I need is lessons from you in regards to reading things properly........ I didn't say you said he was staying out of loyalty...My exact words "was suggesting" he stayed out of loyalty. Then you agree he has shown loyalty. No one is mis reading and certainly not twisting any words.

Optimistic.....man you are right they were still using slates when I started school. We used to be issued with a new piece of chalk every day!! You may laugh but it was true......

Didn't have slates, Beddy, but we had to mix ink powder with water to make ink and use dip pens...surprised we ever learnt to write with all the scratches and splodges.

Fran.......When I was about 10 I was made ink monitor.....and yes my job was to make up the ink and go round the school and fill up the ink wells. Oh and issue new nibs to replace the bent and broken ones....<laugh>

Hey Beddy, I to was selected to be one of two ink monitors at my primary school. I must admit it was a task I did not enjoy. I would like to think I resented being a subservient but in truthfulness I was jealous of my mates who monitored the cloakrooms, all that power the lucky b******s.

Yes I seem to always be at the end of the pointed finger.....ink monitor, assembly coordinator. Later it was dinner (lunch) monitor prefect..... Then prefect and and even later principle prefect...Deputy school sports organiser (to the teacher). most of my school life at play times I had some sort of responsibility. If they/we wanted to play footy on the grass or do anything on it if it looked dodgy it was me that was responsible, I had to obtain the permissions. If someone fell ass over tit in the playground it was me that had been trained in first aid and would normally be first on the scene to administer first aid. (Mind you that had it's up side)....it was amazing how many girls needed mouth to mouth....<laugh>
