Any ideas who we are bidding for? Or if any deals are close to being done?
I'm not supposed to post names yet, but it looks like we've got a keeper, a winger and another midfield player, all three are from Premier League clubs.
The keeper and winger have been mentioned on here already, the midfield player is a new one on me and I barely know anything about him.
The winger is to replace Brady, who will return to Man United next month, Nick thinks he's more agro than his contribution warrants.
It looks like Simpson will return now, but we still need we need another striker regardless.
That surprised me too.
He's actually been a first choice player in the past couple of seasons, but has fallen out of favour in the last month or two for some reason, but despite this I can't actually remember what sort of player he is at all.
Hammill? If it is, I think that's a better option than Brady anyway.
What clubs are the other players from? Any truth in the Turner rumour?
If Adam Hammil and Dorus De Vries/Harper are on the way i am very happy with our business indeed. I never thought Hammil was a PL player and doubt that he will make one but he is a very good Championship keeper. Like many said on De Vries he was a very good distributor of the ball which IMO is what we need if we are looking to play the way we are. A Midfielder? Is it necessary? No. If he improves us it it a bad thing? No. If he is better than what we have why not, clearly shows we have a bit of a wage budget.
just checked out the premier squads and can only see half a dozen of those that have been regulars who it could possibly be trouble is think a few of them have been or are injured

I can only think that if were getting a centre mid player,he might be this seasons surprise big name,but then you don't know what sort of player he is olm. Oh 
Does the central midfield player mean Oli's getting interest/ Cairney may be going on loan somewhere?
I asked about outgoing players, but nothing is fixed yet, CI think Boro are in for Oli, Nick thinks Cairney's a bit of a slacker and he might well go out(possibly a loan), Harper and McShane are definitely available and I think you could probably add Adebola to the list too.
