You're not on the same planet as Man City or Chelsea. Our owners are "Mega Rich" as well but prefer to run the club properly developing players. That is what Pearson has a history of as well. In fact it's going to be fun watching either him having to do as he is told (spend, spend, spend) even though he doesn't believe in it, or watch them sack him because they don't appreciate the value of patience as he does.

It will all end in tears.

oh i bet there are many clubs in the championship who will be only to pleased to see the colour of lesta's money. you could in fact raid TWS if you like ? lol. i dont think for one moment that NP will be looking here as he knows what the response will be as do lestas owners. as for having fun, enjoy it whilst it does last as i am amazed your owners have not thought about bailing out and going for a club like Everton who are on the market now.

yes it is. IF sharp does come it will certainly distance himself from the players who are just money mercenaries as we all know he can go to a number of clubs for alot more of the folding.

dare i also say that it may have something to do with having nick barmby as our manager ?
has sharp been one of the many who have been ringing nicks phone ?

Barmby is very well respected throughout the football world for what he has done and for coming back to his home club when he could have hanged around collecting cash at a **** Prem or higher placed club than what City were when he did sign.
He is a great example to all the youngsters at the club of how to conduct yourself as a proffesional, he's seen it, done it, got the England caps to prove it.

    YOU CAN'T BUY RESPECT.

I'd have thought he could play in it, but maybe he doesn't have the work rate and determination that Fryatt has and therefore wouldn't hold it up as well.

I get the impression we aren't actually after him. I'd love us to go after him but from what NB has said (I can't remember where) I don't think we are interested.

I think Fryatt's running and enthusiasm are more important to us than his actual striking abilties (because they are lacking) so yes maybe he could play on the wing like McLean does. He has ended up on the left side of a 3 at times this season. I daresay he'd do a similar job to the one McLean is doing now.

I don't think there's any doubt Sharp is good enough for us, he'd scored 9 goals in a ****e team, imagine what he'd do if given the amount of chances we create! As I've said above, the reason I don't think it will come off is because NB will prefer other targets for whatever reason (maybe the transfer fee).

NB did state that he was interested in Sharp, but not for 3 mill.

Sounds like you do begrudge us? Our Owners are here for the long term Pearsons words not mine. They have tried to help you? Sold you Fryatt and Hobbs and loaned you Waghorn and Pearson so do not be bitter.

Is that the same Pearson that said he was irritated by the Leicester speculation and that he was totally committed to the job he was doing a week before he walked out on Hull City for money?

If I was you I'd look elsewhere for your virtuous anecdotes.

It's funny, a lender usually facilitates a loan for a fee. In this instance, it's more like we loaned him to you.

The irony of all this is the poor Lesteristan fans don't realise how pathetic they are.

When Pearson left, their message boards were full of how good Sousa was and that they would wave a fond farewell to Pearson's boring One-Nil, negative football. Then SGE came in and it was another ****fest. Now they've gone back to Pearson and it's like the second coming (or at least it was for the first two weeks).

Lesteristan is the laughingstock of the Football League.

I'm reliably informed, this very evening, that Sharp was discussed, but nothing came of it and we're not planning on bidding for him.
