It's funny that fans are still trying to get under his skin so much but all he does is ignore it and score :D

Did you spot in the Spam game their fans were giving it the "He looks like a chimp" chant, the moment they finished the last word of it, Bale picked the ball up on the D and scored our first! :)

Some players get spurred on by the abuse, whereas others wilt under the pressure.
Defoe always seems to have a good game against West Ham, for example, despite their disgraceful chants against him.

We need to find out which ones are spurred on by it and start abusing them at home. This is a great idea.

(this is a joke btw)

2 more today

Sebastien Corchia is a right wing back, Bruno Martins Indi is a centre back that can play left back, and Stefan de Vrij is a centre back who can play left back.

From that standpoint, one of three conclusions can be reached:
i.) The rumours are just that, rumours
ii.) We'll cash in on Walker and sell Benny, drafting in Corchia and one of BMI/de Vrij as replacements
iii.) We're planning on playing a three-man defence next season, and are looking at players that can play centre back and full back for this

I'm thinking the first option myself...

I hope Lennon stays and doesn't go to Milan,I see him as important to our future.

Hopefully he'll rip them to shreds tomorrow night, realise how average they now are, and be put off completely!
That's just the sort of club that right now would not appeal to a lot of footballers, IMO

why would he go to a club in decline, whe he is in a team on the up

exactly.

and very true WY, never worth as little as £8m. - Even if arsenal fans say they wouldn't pay £8 for him!

He won't be going anywhere for £8m. That's a ludicrous piece of journalism, frankly.

I like the image. I think it should be used on this forum in times of need.
