tots - A couple of managers have looked at him at Chelsea now and clearly haven't felt confident to use him in anything meaningful, even when Drogba was out injured, has he even started a game? If you don't impress in training you don't get picked, or is it poor attitude to moan instead of fight for your place. Either way I don't like it, its got expensive flop written all over it.

I think there is so much stress being a manager it is a wonder this doesn't happen more often. I remember it happening during a game to the late great Jock Stein, and many of them seem to be on the point of exploding at times.
They've had a ludicrous amount of poor luck in the last year - losing Giuseppe Rossi for a large chunk of the season, then he picks up a new injury when he returns to training that rules him out until at least next January, with relegation and Champions league humiliation thrown into the mix. And now this.
