Mark Warburton has been sacked by Nottingham Forest. He's a Spurs fan and a very big advocate of the current regime. Hopefully, we've got a job for him?

Big Vic appeared on Soccer AM and here's the answers to their pointless questions...
  • Worst Dancer: Eric Dier
  • Best Dancer: Serge Aurier (GK N’Koudou is second, Aurier beat him in a dance-off)
  • Best Player: Mousa Dembele
  • Hardman: Jan Vertonghen (because Vic won't pick himself)
  • Funnyman: Son Heung-Min
  • Prankster: Jan Vertonghen
  • Biggest Diva: Harry Winks (he parks in Vic's parking space; Winks says lol no it's Vic)
  • Most Intelligent: Mousa Dembele (but DEFINITELY not Moussa Sissoko)
  • Selfie-Obsessed: Moussa Sissoko
  • Fashion Disaster: Christian Eriksen (he only wears black)
  • Kit Man's Nightmare: Dele Alli
Verts the prankster? I can't see that myself.

Sorry how did I forget this incredible contribution to our popular culture - Though it should be remembered that he did only narrate the first 2 series before the remarkably similar sounding Michael Angelis (Boys from the Blackstuff / The Liver Birds etc) took over for the next 20 years!
Who was Ringo in the Sgt Pepper film.

Slightly unfair on Ringo by the way. The not even the best drummer in the Beatles was a characteristic Lennon joke, one which he withdrew

"Ringo was a star in his own right in Liverpool before we even met. Ringo was a professional drummer who sang and performed and was in one of the top groups in Britain, but especially in Liverpool. So Ringo's talent would have come out one way or the other ... whatever that spark is in Ringo, we all know it but can't put our finger on it. Whether it's acting, drumming, or singing, I don't know. There's something in him that is projectable and he would have surfaced as an individual ... Ringo is a damn good drummer.[237]"

Rob Cross is handing out a pasting to the greatest ever in darts history. A shame in many ways but it's the natural order of things.......

"The King is dead. Long live the King."

Cue the playing of 'The Circle of Life'.

Trevor Sinclair has admitted acting like a total bellend and got off quite lightly, in my opinion:

I've used the Guardian link, as it has more details than the other versions that I've read, including the BBC's.

The Kick It Out campaign's response has been pathetic, though:

It appears that the BBC aren't going to be using him on MOTD any more, though he wasn't on it very often in the first place.
We'll see if this buries his broadcasting career or if he can somehow rescue it.

But not everyone in the road, which leads on to Mincing Lane ...

<rofl>
It was beaten by Minge Lane, in Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire, where 72-year-old Stephen Young said no such petition had popped up.
"Nobody is that fussed about the name", he said, and the only real problem was "people nicking the sign".
<laugh>

What a brilliant piece of journalism.
