I possibly was - he is probably the worlds best known drummer I cannot deny that, and Keith Moon loved him, but whether that makes him a worthy recipient of a knighthood I am not sure - then again people have got them for less (back to Nick Clegg)

The Kick It Out campaign's response has been pathetic, though: It appears that the BBC aren't going to be using him on MOTD any more, though he wasn't on it very often in the first place. We'll see if this buries his broadcasting career or if he can somehow rescue it.
