Just so we're clear, David Ginola was playing golf or beach football, where he fainted or had a cardiac arrest, so he went to hospital for tests of heart surgery, and he is now fine or in a coma. This is either the worst Choose Your Own Adventure ever, or somebody needs to tell Erwin Schrödinger he can pick up his cat.
He needed a quadruple bypass after playing football according to the Beeb. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36340327 Glad he's okay, sounds like he got very lucky with how things turned out
Sounds very similar to what happened to my brother. He'd been for a run, came home and suddenly collapsed. His heart had stopped. Luckily, my sister in law was home, otherwise he'd have been gone. Same as Ginola. Blocked arteries - quadruple bypass!...
I'm a bit late but to follow up on this, but there's a skiing site called Newschoolers that has a Buy/Sell gear forum on it. Might be interesting for you (and the mods if you're getting involved in any way, might be that you have to state explicitly that not606 is not responsible for transactions etc.) to read the top 4 pinned threads on the page below just to get an idea of how they handle it on there. Obviously if this is just STs on here then a lot of the stuff about gear condition and the like is a bit redundant, but it might be interesting to see in terms of establishing best practice. I've never used it myself but it's a well established and very long-running site in the community and it seems there's a fair but of B/S/T activity on there. I wouldn't bother reading to the bottom of each thread as they tend to run to anarchy, but the first few posts might be worth a browse. http://www.newschoolers.com/forum/8/Sell-and-Trade Hope this helps.
ITV are masters of making programmes for the easily pleased. I wish I could undrerstand how Opportunity Knocks with flashing lights and a hyperactive audience passes for entertainment. Missing Monday Night Football
Seen on facebook Guys, let me know if you can help. A friend of mine bought tickets to the UCL final in Milan next Saturday (Real Madrid v Athletico). The problem is that he completely forgot and the Saturday is his wedding day as he bought the tickets a few months before agreeing the wedding date. Now he wants to know if any one is interested in getting married.
The domestic football season may be almost over, but it's a cracking year for sport - the Euros, Olympics, Ryder cup as well as all the usual summer sporting events. And the new PL fixtures are out in 3 weeks. Happy days
