There does seem to be a lot of mitigation and past evidence that was not brought to bear in Dembele's case. I can't believe we were badly advised, I can only assume the club knew exactly what it was doing and if it chose not to make a 'big thing' then there was a reason. Otherwise it seems we'll just continue down the same path as "targeted inconsistency" (by which I mean it isn't really inconsistent if certain clubs benefit all the time, inconsistency would be fine if it was actually random!)

The way that the media was treating that game was only ever going to result in one outcome.
Challenging the ban might've seen it increased, if anything.
 
Balotelli got 3 games(plus another for second sending off iirc) when he stamped on Parker's head. Maybe the FA are going to come down harder in the future. If not, I hope we're there to point out the hypocrisy.

Is there an issue here with people getting ripped off? I'm not sure, what do posters think?

I'm not suggesting you would rip people off Spurlock but would it attract shysters if we put it on a public forum?

That's fine Spurf. I'm purely interested in purchasing. My brother does a similar thing on a City forum. I know we have a few season ticket holders. Sometimes they can't go and would maybe want to sell their tickets.

I understand trust could be an issue I can also see the drawbacks. I suppose anyone new jumping in would be questioned. I was thinking of it with the familiar posters in mind.
 
I have sold my season ticket seat on two occasions into the 606 community, once to someone on here and the first occasion to someone on the old BBC606.

On both occasions, the transaction was smooth and without problem. However, it does rely on two levels of trust. The payment for the ticket and the return of the season ticket card.

I am fortunate, I have a personal season ticket and also a staff one. I have my own sources for passing on the one I don't use, but I am more than happy to help not606ers out when I can and can certainly help more frequently with getting tickets for away games.

Don't see an issue, Transaction would be via PM. Skulduggery between established posters would be very unlikely.

There are some conflicting reports that David Ginola has suffered a heart attack in France or that he's just been taken ill.
The latter claims suggest that he was playing football in hot weather, while the former claim that he had a cardiac arrest at a golf tournament.
Hope he gets well soon, either way.
 
There is a Spurs ticket Twitter scheme where apparently there are tickets always available. One of the rules of that scheme is that no ticket is allowed to be advertised at more than face value.
 
BBC just reporting:

Former France international David Ginola is recovering in hospital after undergoing heart surgery, according to reports in his homeland.

The 49-year-old, who retired in 2002, is reported to have suffered a heart attack on Thursday.

Good health and a swift recovery Son!

The reports on this seem very contradictory and inconsistent.
Ginola's tweets appear to be closer to the heatstroke stories than those of a quadruple bypass, but he might just be playing it down.
