It does seem, bizarrely, that Spurs are held to a higher standard. I think Spurs fans actually do this as well. Chadli’s yellow was, strictly speaking, a pen, if a softish one, followed by a dive. Everyone agrees it’s a dive. The same sequence against Liverpool at WHL was summed up by just about everyone as a pen with a little unimportant simulation afterward.

That's the closest he's got to a winger from another Premier League team in the last seven days.

"It's taken them 500 years to bury Richard III.

It must have been a bad winter"

Well no surprise twas nothing doing in 1978/79 (it was the "Winter of (our) discontent" after all) .

On the bright side, even if everyone including us seems to be conspiring to give our opponents the benefit of officiating decisions, at least the England manager hasn't announced he's pleased as punch to help Liverpool finish ahead of Tottenham by sending their player back early while filling his squad with Spurs for both games of the season's last international break.

Or am I mistaken about that? http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/england/32064800

Froch has had the character and determination to get more fortune out of his very limited talent than all but a few boxers. Getting out at the top would be a great move for him. I hate to see boxers stay in the ring too long. Far too many get permanently damaged. Fighters like Froch who rely on an iron chin need to be even more careful than most.

It's too bad he doesn't have the acting background of a Neymar or Robben.

"I though that was '73,with the powercuts etc."

No.
Just shows you how bad winter 1978-79 was socially, in order to be
the Winter of discontent over the Three day week. :( :)
