Tough league fixtures and the wembley final, all able bodied players need to step up and be counted. no shirking under a sick note.
Someone mentioned on another thread that LJ was sometimes a bit sharp in returning players too soon and it's certainly a double edged sword.
He must be desperate to bolster his defence and without taking anything away from the back 3/4 we've only really played Crewe recently who had a real go at us, Fleetwood no shots on target etc.
We were all over the shop first half against Crewe but if the six or so mentioned as being close to a return then I'd be tempted to leave well alone against Rochdale, the Portsmouth game is a must not loose game, which we can win then he can play whoever hasn't run out of steam against Tranmere.
Do I want to win the Papa John's course I do but going up is the obviously preferred outcome this season.
LJ needs to earn his wages this next 12 says or so.
Yep, starting to look forward to the next game as soon as one ends, even after Shrewsbury and Crewe. It’s exciting though isn’t it? Most of the time we’ve spent in this division has been at best bland and boring, now all of a sudden it feels like there’s a hell of a lot riding on the next month or so.

Hhaaawwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyy the lads
The rolls are being discussed on the other thread marra...We are on a roll in the league, now. We need to protect our squad as much as possible. Play the reserves and kids against Tranmere, the result isn't important, keeping our first team players for promotion is very important.

Sorry but I don’t want us to lose at Wembley again , also important that we have a settled team as far as possible particularly a winning one . I would hate to see Remi Matthews between the sticks for the final he takes me back to the bad old days of Camp and Steele when we have normally had decent keepers . The EFL Trophy is not the most prestigious competition to win but to lose I feel would have a negative effect on the club when things are looking a lot brighter ,bringing some silverware back for the fans would provide another boost for the area and build confidence in our quest for Promotion - play to WIN !!!We are on a roll in the league, now.
