Hahaha, that's even better! I dont remember ever making a bet on here but - as I said earlier in the thread - that doesnt mean it didnt happen.
Ffs more of this doomsday next owner nonsense. We've got one of the worst owners in football. He has single handedly turned fan against fan. If you choose to ignore that because he's spent money then you're a sellout and nothing more. For our next owner to be worse than Allam will take some doing.
I dont see the Allams going anywhere. Too much money invested and massive amounts of PL money around. Why would they walk away ? The result of arbitration is going to be interesting come November. Especially if they try and use EU law against the FA.
And let rumours fester for a week before. If he isn't leaving and his press conference was just full of idle threats and nothing else I think he looks even more ridiculous.
Funny that. I think the majority believe them to be our best ever owners. Not that the majority are always right, of course, but we do live in a democracy (other than on this board). TWT.
He's upset a very small, minority group who don't like change and think they're the best fans ever. Stop being so dramatic.
Worst owner in football? What do they put in his pot noodles?? How can he be one of the worst owners when even CTWD acknowledge he saved the club. Speaking of sellouts, you could argue that those still going to games under the Devil's ownership are selling out to their beliefs... but mkay.
For me he is the worst owner in our entire history. Even David Llord didnt threaten to extinct Hull City, he was happy to let us exist as olong as he got paid. I agree, that's why I'm boycotting home games. I personally can't oppose the owner and then turn up to home games. It's contradictory in my eyes but that's just me, i wont criticise others who still go.
Well fair play to you. A bit dramatic though, there wouldn't be much of a Hull city to support without him. I see him as an old man with a big ego and used to getting his own way. He's in no way our worst ever owner or a devil. He's said a few wrong things but that's easily attributed to his poor English and speaking impulsively. That's why there were boos really. Because CTWD is now unofficially anti-allam. Some people can't accept the abuse towards a man who's done quite a lot of good amongst other things. Laughable that he's getting more abuse than the previous owners who not only milked us dry and almost got us bankrupt through stupid decisions but also gave nothing back in return on the field.
Yes he really is. Only Tan comes close. You're not allowed to say it on here because the money he's spent makes him a hero regardless of what he's done, but it's true. At any other club he'd be chased out of town. There's been no abuse from CTWD the group or those who sing collectively as anti-name change at matches. Any abuse Allam gets on here is completely deserved. He's got an easy ride for far too long in fact.
I'm a CTWD member, but nothing more than that. I can't explain their statements. But I did attend the FGM and raised concerns that media statements haven't been vocal enough against either the name change or Allam, considering how poor (or non-existant rather) the Allam argument is. The explanation was that they'd been roundly praised for that stance and that it should continue. Though I've no idea why I bothered to explain that as it doesn't matter either way to you, you just want to win your little battle against the proper fans. Sad that that's what it is for some of you.
