We were not alone in wanting him and it caused a delay, but it should still happen.
As Mussie suggested yesterday, maybe Fergie is just dragging it out so he can't score the winner against his lad tomorrow.
So putting together what we already know and what yourself and PT have said so far we have:
Mannone - Loan
Carson - Loan
Probably King - Loan
Although you can't say it Hammill - six figure sum
PT has said that he understands that there will be no more in beyond those.
That means that the Allams will have given NB less than £1million to spend in this window which is even less than the £1million previously reported in the Daily Mirror Article.
When I questioned how little that was some time ago several people on here corrected me saying the article was wrong and Barmby had been promised 'millions'.
So what is the truth because I personally think a transfer budget of less than £1million in January shows a distinct lack of ambition / backing from Mr. Allam even if we are keeping our existing players.
I'm tempted to think that - if it was 'millions' - it was the result of selling players to provide those millions ( i.e. - self-financing.)
