What's up with Eldin Jakupovic? I thought he excelled against us and i've heard nothing but good reports of him since.

Is he happy to be benched (he didn't sound it in his post-match interview on boxing day) or will you be signing a back up?

He's been good, but as our only other keeper is a 22 year old with a glass back and no first team appearances, we need someone else.

If it's Robinson or Stockdale, I suspect Jakupovic will be forced back onto the bench, though that might be difficult if he carries on as he's started.

Just about to post that OLM, you copy and paste King! :p

I hope regardless of getting another keeper or not, we let Eldin stick his run out. If he continues keeping clean sheets, why put him back on the bench. At least wait until he's conceded a couple or has a mare. (Fingers crossed neither happens).
 
We have a game in two days and Oxley is cup tied, having played an FA Cup game while on loan at Burton Albion earlier in the season.

Who's the youth keeper now, I can't remember who got released in the summer?
 
Ok....OK..... I'll do it. I'll go in goal on Saturday. How hard can it be? :P
 
But how do you attract a player of Robinson's calibre?
Sign for us and you'll be on the bench until Jakupovic ****s up.
If we do sign Stockdale or Robinson I would think they'd be straight in the team, which would be hard on Jakupovic.
Robinson wouldn't come here to start as a No.2 keeper would he?
Can we afford to wait for Jakupovic to **** up, it could cost us???
Hard part of being a manager these type of decisions.
 
you cant tell a player to earn his spot then bench him because hes done nothing wrong. Any keeper we bring in should be professional and work to earn his place. If they're good enough it shouldn't be a problem

Cup tied. Played for Burton Albion and got injured. So No. It will have to be Jakupovic in goal with Cracknell on the bench on saturday.

No surprise that Amos has gone. But thanks Ben for your efforts. Looks like Stockdale is coming back then.
