My version is 4. In this iteration, the AI teams can cut you in half and the ref will give them a pat on the arm. But if you so much as cough next to an AI player you're off**. Actually the ref is bloody annoying because he invariably runs in the way. Oh, and all the rebounds and slightly odd chance bounces go straight to an AI player. Bloody annoying to say the least.
I still beat them though because the ol' magic in the fingers is still there.

PES 4... was that the one with Henry and Totti on the box, or Henry and John Terry? Sounds like you need to get an upgraded game..! You can get FIFA 14 on the PS2 for under £20 on Amazon. Surely one of the last PS2 games ever made.
EDIT: A quick search reveals that yes, FIFA 14 is the last game that will ever be released on PS2.
It is the latest edition, only came out about two months ago. I can't attest to the gameplay but as far as I'm aware, they've literally not changed the slightest bit since about FIFA 11 on the PS2 (some would say they only make minimal changes on the other consoles, but I'm talking about no changes at all outside of kits and squads). Still, at some point around 2007/08 FIFA became better than Pro Evo and it hasn't changed since then (on the other consoles, at least).
Nothing to be worried about 7 broke(heard of) out of over 4500 in the wild. One guy was at fault for his as he pulled out the power supply when it was downloading. He was on Twitch streaming when he did it, he called up Sony and gave his address, name, PS4 barcode while he was on Twitch!
He managed to fix it by formatting the hard drive.
I've just witnessed a disturbing video involving a Dolphin with the horn and a decapitated fish. I used to like Dolphins.
Dolphins are intelligent and interesting creatures, but they are also animals and behave like animals (as do humans). I am amazed that people risk themselves and their children by swimming with them...mostly harmless but you wouldn't want to meet one having a bad day.
So I shouldn't spend the next two weeks worrying? Two weeks is too long to wait anyway! Hopefully Sony will have something in place to sort it by then anyway.
Yeah I saw that. Bloody ducks. But then, I don't know how much other ducks don't like being raped.
Didn't realise ducks were evil. I used to like ducks too. Please don't tell me that Chameleons are rapey otherwise I'll be deeply saddened.
Nah there is always a percentage of consoles that won't work. But it is always very a very small percentage(unless your name is Xbox360)
