I'm not keen on any pundits really, besides Neville.

I wouldn't let the pundits influence my choice of where or why I watch a game.

If football is on, I will watch.

Bet BT raise the price now as well. Football is becoming to exspensive for loads of people.

Well on principle I would rather give money to BT than to any organisation involving the Murdoch empire, so this move has to be a good thing on that score. On the other hand it's a shame that there won't be any CL matches on terrestrial TV.

Well I never watch ITV's coverage of Champions League so it makes no difference to me.

BUT..! It's another removal of another category of sport from so-called free terrestrial TV viewing, and so it continues an unfortunate trend that has been happening for a couple of decades. I blame everyone who allowed SKY to get off the ground. And I'm only slightly joking..! ;)

Marc Marquez is re-writing the rules. I've just watched an astonishing qualifying session. I just don't know how he rides that Honda RCV that fast and stays on it. To the uninitiated, we are not talking speeds between 60 and 120mph. We are talking about 80 to 210mph, with most of it around 150-160mph. And the nipper is sideways going into corners, and through them with the wheels completely out of line. This is riding like they used to do back in the early 1990's, but back then they did it because the bikes couldn't handle well enough. These days the bikes are superbly stable and almost ride themselves at normal speeds. It's utterly ridiculous, he has no fear.

It's the introduction of Moto2 that has helped this. Back in the 2T 250cc days the fastest way to ride was wheels-in-line. When Moto2 was introduced they left out the traction control and the riders learned to control a bike with the throttle, just like they did in years gone by. Marquez now has traction control to rein in the excesses of his MotoGP bike, but he's still riding it like a Moto2 bike. How does one explain that the back wheel of Marquez's bike is going nearly 10mph faster round corners than the front wheel even when they both on the ground..? Work it out.

Yep, that was pretty special. When Jorge laid down that marker it was basically saying "beat that kiddo".......and by hell, he did......

Yeah it is. Opposite your ex-training ground too.

Got a bus on the way back to Eastleigh Railway Station, but even that was a 'fun' experience. The bus stop was literally on the edge of the road by a churchyard, so it was dark and I was standing on the edge of a road which wasn't hugely busy, but the cars that did go buy were going by rather quickly (as aparently people in Eastleigh haven't heard of pavements) right next to a graveyard, that was more than a little creepy.

Don't Pompey train anymore then..?

Not really.

I remember driving down that road and going round one of the bends to see an upside down car and a load of lads standing around looking a bit sheepish.

Not really.

That area would have been improved if our proposed Stadium had been built just the other side of the Motorway bridge. Did you notice the clock on the Church Tower? It has only got one hand.
