FFX was great, FFXII also was IMO although the battle system started to go downhill at that point. FFXIII was soulless and the game that made the gaming media realise that the series was really going downhill. VII, VIII and IX are my favourites too, I'm a year younger than you but FFVII was the first game where I was old enough to understand and appreciate the effort put into the story telling along with the game play mechanics, not to mention the incredible score by the genius that is Nobuo Uematsu. It still remains my favourite game of all time and FFVIII and FFIX continued that, IX managed to sum up everything that I had missed from FFI-V into a game basically, traditional classes and story line but in the PS1 era. Just noticed that the Distants World concert is back this year at the Royal Albert Hall, unfortunately its sold out, I saw it in 2011 and it was one of the best nights of my life TBH.
Anyone ever played Battletoads? Often regarded as having one of the hardest single player campaigns in gaming. So much fun, there used to be a website I played it on but I can't find it anywhere right now 
Just got back from an interview for a graduate job. ****ing hell that was tough. 45 minutes that felt like 45 hours.
Big step towards Syria resolution today. Russia has convinced Syria to put its chemical weapons under international control, which should "remove the grounds for American aggression".
That should be a bit of a blow for America's allies in the region, who really want to get rid of Assad for geopolitical reasons.

Reckon you did okay? I might have an interview or two lined up myself, and I can't bloody wait to be in to one of those and out of my current job.
Think it went fine. Bit of a blur now to be honest! I really want the job as well. I haven't relaxed since I was asked for an interview on Friday. I spent all weekend and yesterday preparing for it. Now I can relax in front of the England game with a six pack of lager knowing I couldn't have done anything more.
I don't prepare for interviews any more. I've found that over-thinking them makes me noticeably nervous, and just winging it makes me come across as surprisingly confident. I can't relax for the England game though, as I have to serve people food and drinks for the whole thing!
Only 45 minutes? Oh man, that's it. People always interview "possibles" for 50 minutes; known-fact
Jesting; hope you get it, as it sounds like you really want it. If you don't get it, just remember that it is only a set-back and a good experience to draw from. Head up and keep going.
Good luck mate, as long as you know you couldn't have done anything more than you should have your head held high. If you don't get it then its still a learning experience.

I once had all-day group interviews. Started at 9am in Bristol (I was late) and finished at about 3:30pm. 12 people for two positions. We had aptitude tests, role plays, group interviews and then individual interviews.

Once had to interview a guy I knew from my college days. He was a right big headed twat back then , always going on about how his dad was rich and they had a big house and he wouldn't have to work. Made me laugh when I saw him.
I've always enjoyed interviews. It's been a few years since I had a traditional interview as my last three job changes have been because I knew someone or was approached, but I did used to enjoy an interview.
I've actually been the interviewer more times than I have been interviewed! Suppose that is a good thing, although for IT Service Desk jobs its very easy to tell whether someone has the necessary communication and technical skills in just a few questions. I tend to make my judgement within the first few minutes to be fair, for better or for worse.
