Oh man, this Egypt thing is nuts. "Hundreds" dead, and it's being posted online for everyone to see. There are some gruesome images on Twitter so tread carefully. I've seen at least one brain.
Religion makes everyone mental.

I did not see that coming. That is hilarious!ONTV, a popular Egyptian TV channel has its anchor ask people to get our of their homes to physically abuse pro-Morsi protesters.
edit: and they saying that "idiot Erdogan did more massacre with his protest dispersal and that they done better job".
edit2: anchors "giggle" and banter as they watch live massacre, say that Americans are hypocrites, that George Bush was from military and no one complained about military taking over in America like they do in Egypt.
edit3: They talking about how wars always have collateral damage citing Bosnia war and then they meander to how America is only after its own interests therefore Egypt should be free to pursue its own interests (I'm guessing killing MB). (btw, Egyptians on TV keep comparing themselves to America lately, what's up with that?) They keep saying Egyptians should be more optimistic, and blah blah about Egypt's dignity.
Ah **** man. Who's responsible? What's the army doing?
Kinda crazy that Cairo is ****ed up but most other places in Egypt are fine.It seems to be the army which is slaughtering Muslim Brotherhood supporters.
(The protesters haven't exactly been non-violent either, it just happens that the military has far more power and is using it).
Godders, I'll post a message properly when I'm back, but ...
Oradour-sur-glane was incredible. All of us (kids too) were stunned by the place; we will return there again and spend even longer there. My son hasn't stopped reading the books we bought while there. Anyone travelling to France should visit this place.
"Chronicle of a death foretold" was fabulous. I really enjoyed his style and I was hooked; read the book first afternoon at the villa. The book tells you everything that happens and who does it in the first page, yet the author still keeps you turning the pages. I then find another of his short novels on the book shelf of the villa and so read that on the second afternoon, "Memories of my melancholy whores." Again, an incredible read. Looks like I'll be purchasing some more of his books when I return.
Thanks for the recommendation of both Oradour and the book.
So... anything much happen tonight?

I'm not sure where to post this but Benteke has broken his leg on Belgium duty tonight.

That was entirely made up by some dude on Twitter. He finished the game and walked off the pitch completely fine.

I knew posting it before DTLW was a bit too suspicious.I dunno what makes people think it'd be a good idea to trick people into believing something pointless like that. Cretin.
Anyway, exciting Fierro news coming shortly.
