I agree that dental treatment can be frighteningly high. I had two back teeth removed because I didn't want to pay a fortune. Would have paid to save a decent tooth or one near the front, but I had a feeling that I would only have more trouble later so went for the extractions. However, to be fair, it takes as long to train to be a dentist as to be a doctor and their equipment is very expensive. Apparently to have a surgery filled with decent equipment (and lets face it we want decent equipment) it can cost 100+K. And people who moan about the cost will pay a garage huge sums and will lay out on new technology...and your teeth are more important than an Apple computer or iPhone.

I was thinking (read: analysing) and actually thinking about it, there might actually be inspection copies for physical (as opposed to online) journals. I've not been involved in that side but it is a possibility.

Ill try to find it somewhere, but the British Dental Council state somewhere you shouldn't be charged more than £360 for 12 months of dental work, for NHS patients.

couldn't find it, but found this

Always tell your dentist that you want the work on the NHS, get it clarified first, In writting if poss.

If you go to a dispute or price/work, its the Dentist that decides wether the work was done NHS or Private/

I only glanced quickly down the live match report, but noted that a great block from Yoshida prevented the Aussies going 2.0 up. We have at least 1 team to watch in the World Cup.

We sure do. Who were the last few Saints players to represent their nation at a World Cup?

I'm guessing we will have Yoshida, possibly Gaston, possibly Shaw (maybe Clyne?), Mayuka perhaps, and possibly Astori if he signs.

Boruc looks like he will miss out with Poland.

In all possibility, it may just be Yoshida unless Uruguay get themselves going soon.

Uruguay play Venezuela away next week which will have a big say in whether they are there. They only have one away point so far, against bottom of the table Paraguay. But the teams above them have got to play some of the lower down teams in the next week which could extend the gap. Not looking that great.

Zambia are top of their table but dropped points to Lesotho which is never good. They will probably need a result away to Ghana, and then they will still face a play-off, probably against one of the other big guns.

Poland need to beat England to have a chance at getting in the play-offs, so yeah...

Andros Townsend fined £18,000 and suspended from all football for 4 months for breaking The FA's betting laws.

Well, kinda; looks like three months of the suspension are, well, suspended...they won't kick in unless he does something else to breach the rules. So in reality he's suspended for the critical May 23rd - June 23rd period only.

That seems pretty daft.

A man in America, who has given his five children Nazi names including one called Adolf Hitler, appeared in court to gain access to his children in full Nazi costume. He says if the judge is a good guy he will see past the surface to what is underneath. Can't lose, can he?
