I'm sure it'll be fine by the time we reach Barcelona
Don't suppose you keep up with GP2/GP3 do you?
I used to , but not for a while , I will start looking again though , does SKY give it any coverage ?
Only ask as I'm now a sky subscriber and fully intend to get my money's worh![]()

Hoo-hoo, Marquez does a Rossi on Lorenzo at the newly named Lorenzo Corner in Jerez, to take 2nd. Race was pretty good too, with Dani Pedrosa winning well. Was the move illegal..? Thing is, Marquez was only doing what has happened before on that last corner, and although Jorge was cheesed off with the severity of the pass [watch the BBC2 9pm repeat tonight for those who haven't seen it], both of the riders finished and Jorge did leave a little too much gap for Marquez to dive into. They'll probably say watch it to Marquez and he'll take not the blindest bit of notice. So the rookie leads the World Championship and I reckon he'll be a properly serious contender too. If there are betting people out there reading this, get your money down on the lad, because his odds will be shortening by the minute. 15 races to go though and anything can happen. Next up, Le Mans in 2 weeks.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm talk about racing here, ie MotoGP. Not processions in cars.![]()
Yeah Sky show both GP2 and GP3 races live on the Sky F1 channel, pretty sweet coverage. Just asking because the GP3 starts again this weekend, and has been one of my favourite series since it began a few years back. Something like 8 Brits racing in it this year too, should be a great watch![]()

You do get the feeling he will get someone hurt at some point by the season's end, much like Simoncelli did...not that I don't enjoy watching riders like them who have no concept of danger, I love it![]()
Brilliant thanks .
Oh and just ignore TSS comment about processional cars, I am![]()

His advantage is that he is smaller than Marco and so he bounces easier. Mind you, everyone was smaller than Marco [RIP] But it's the way he bullies the bike into being under his control that impresses me. It reminds me a little of the Kevin Schwantz/ Mick Doohan days where the relatively evil handling 2 strokes were pushed and pulled around, drifted and spun up. Marquez does this to his Honda to force it to do things it doesn't want to do. And he does this to a bike that is pretty sweet handling too, because he is riding it on, and sometimes over, the limit. And as Charlie and Steve have noticed, he rides the kerbs like Casey Stoner used to, so he's getting those 100ths out of it. Great to watch.
I can't help it Jasper. I watched F1 for about 25 years and then I realised that it was actually quite boring, so I feel I'm entitled to say my bit. It actually surprised me it took so long fo me to realise because I thought I was quicker on the uptake.
Only kidding..! Of course there were some good moments in F1 during those years. It's just that they were far too rare and, from my perspective, bike racing by comparison is just thrills from start to finish.
At my old school, everyone who liked F1 always asked me about anyone coming up from GP2 or GP3, they knew that I've always been a massive fan of the junior series. Having the Formula Renault on the TOCA package helped, because obviously ITV4 shows the BTCC and its support package, and it's a massive shame that series got killed off by the SRO (as they did with FIA GT as well). So yeah, I'm the go-to guy for everything junior drivers related![]()
In all seriousness TSS you have a very valid point , best years for me ( and worst in some ways ) were the early 1980's , mid 1990's and that's pretty much it , still love the sport but find it harder these days , hence getting sky , Suzi Perry is for me the last straw , and now I know other motor sports is on as well , happy days !!
And lets not forget the WRC early 1980's - mid 1990's !!!!!
What about Le Mans/other endurance racing, are we a fan of those here?![]()
Actually, Suzi was pretty damn good when she presented MotoGP for several years. We'd have her back, as soon as, because she's a bike riding girl at heart. We were all disappointed she left to go off and pop a sprog or two for a couple of years.

Yes never been but one day !!!
Also I have been to the indy circuit for time trails weekend , got there the day after Scott Brayton died , those are FAST , so fast it's AFTER they hit the bricks on the start finish straight , that you hear the Clack sound !!!!!
And talk about access to the Pit's etc !!!
Put's F1 in the dark ages .......
I'd love to get to Le Mans someday, it's always on around the day of my birthday too. So happy it's on after my exams finish this year![]()
