Apparently QPR were in the top-flight relegation zone on the day Thatcher became PM, the day she was ousted and the day she died.

Lots more comments seemingly un-moved by her death on here than on SaintsWeb. It's like a Thatcher shrine over there.

For what it's worth... I'm staying here.

Someone on the news just said they're glad she's dead. Now I know I don't know much about her time as PM, but to wish death upon someone is just sickening, especially on national telly. What's worse, he looked like he was barely out of Uni.

Well said, I agree with everything you've said there.

He might be a Thatcherite, and happy she's died because she was loopy so it's put her out of her misery?

To be glad she's dead is a bit much. I don't particularly care that she's dead because people die every day and many of them are better people than her and they don't get all over the news. She was 87 and had dementia, so yeah, no feelings at all from me really.

I'm pretty much with you Joe. Her PM years were before my time so I'm not particularly fussed.

I worked in the NHS throughout her whole reign and met many people affected by her depredations against working (and unemployed) people in that time. She did nothing whatever for people like me. Everything she did was in the interests of the rich and powerful in this country, and her war against the miners destroyed whole communities in the North of England, and in Wales and Scotland, to the extent that by the end of her period in office there were no Conservative MP's in Scotland at all, such was the alienation of the Scottish people.

I accept that to wish death on anyone is not acceptable, but I am by no means sorry the old bitch is dead.

That'll take a bit of explaining to the relatives of the 323 crew of the Belgrano
