    In what context..?

Ah, I see. Mitchell & Webb context. I find it mildly reassuring that, although David Mitchell would have co-written that sketch to be funny, he would also be annoyed if he caught somebody making the sound Haitch instead of the correct Aitch.

A rare talent. He's managed to turn pedantry into something amusing. :)

Can't remember exactly what he said, but it was something along the lines of "here they do the best expresso". I'd only just tuned in.

Japan won 2-1 against Canada. Yoshida played well, in my opinion. A couple of his fellow defenders were a bit iffy though.

So had an interview today which didn't go brilliantly. They asked some ridiculously hard questions, like "How would you go about running a drinks event?" "What would you do on the night?" "Um...." (in my head: wtf is a drinks event?!)

On the bright side, Spotify no longer has a play 5 time play limit for songs, yay. Now to listen to Gotye and Of Monsters and Men repeatedly!

Vegard Forren getting a proper workout for Norway against Albania. He'll be fit or injured when he gets back from international duty.

Nothing scary about babies. I used to be terrified, but it was just a case of meeting one I had a connection with (my neice)

How could you be terrified of babies? They're adorable when they're not cranky.

I'm terrified of babies. Every time I'm given one to hold I feel ridiculously uncomfortable like I'm gonna drop it or harm it in some other way. Plus they smell of piss and ****.

I'm sure you'll have a great time though Pieking!

I remember once taking off from Singapore to Auckland, NZ. The moment we levelled off to height this baby started with a wail that definitely didn't pull at the heart strings. It was going for about a minute, with no sign of abating in the slightest, and the mother was... well how shall I put it..? F***ing useless, to be honest. She barely made any attempt before appearing to simply give up. Almost immediately a male Singapore Airlines steward popped his head over the cot which the airline provides and within 5-10 seconds the baby had stopped completely, and the steward turned to the mum to give some advice, and she appeared to thank him. We didn't hear a peep from the infant for the remaining 12 hours of the flight. I think the whole plane owed that steward a debt which is still unpaid to this day.

Personally I have almost no affinity towards babies or any child under about 3, I find more of them ugly than I do cute, and to me they are just socially and mentally inept midgets. My family believe I am a sociopath as a result.

I'll probably become a big bundle of baby love once there's one in my close family, but at this point they're rarely anything other than a large (well, small) annoyance.

Forren's landed badly. Looking a bit awkward. Still think he looks out of condition.
