Very scientific at the beeb tonight.

"Are Manchester United fans more knowledgeable about football than Liverpool fans?

According to our BBC Sport Predictor league they are, with Man Utd in 51st place and Liverpool in 87th after the opening round of our new Premier League game.

Help represent your club by making your predictions forthis weekend's fixtures here."

Brilliant idea of the BBC to have a predictor, wonder where they got that from and at such an early time in the season<whistle>

The one they normally have available from week one or earlier but not this season until the final few weeks?

They gave Lawro a 34 week head start to make sure he didn't come last.

It didn't work.

So I presume they don't bother to give the results and make it up to suit themselves then....[HASHTAG]#followingthemastersexample[/HASHTAG]

Yep, he conceded 39 goals in 31 games.<laugh>

" Top goalkeeper - always felt Liverpool wasted him."

It was just an opportunity for the bitter blue to have a dig at us, if he was a brilliant keeper for us McNutly would have had a point.

frnakly friedal signed for evans who then got sacked and houllier didn't really like him...

what did friedal actually do at his clubs, Blackburn, villa spurs.. answer is simple he won a league cup in 2001/02

what did LFC win under houlllier and his terrbile deicsion. FA cup, 2 league cups, one uefa cup...

all that time playing and 668 games and one medal.... yeah we really missed out... westerveld, dudek and reina.. sure..

Freidal was as solid reliable keeper.... but to reduce his retirement at 41 down to something 15 years before is so ridiculous.

at spurs he only really played a few games after his first season and was replaced by loris in the end.

his best years were with villa and blackburn...

He was only with us for 3 seasons and was only brought in as understudy to David James when Grobbelaar eventually left, he wasn't as good as Brucie, James or Westerveld for us so McNutly's just stirring the **** with his throw away comment.
