Poor timing but all the best to him, absolute legend of the club, had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, always remember him stopping to say hello to my girls when we were about to enter the kids zone
Pretty much this. They had him shaking hands and handing out comp tickets. Complete waste of his talents. He should have been in the dressing room and on the training pitches kicking some arses

I once walked into a builders merchants and overheard a few lads talking about SAFC. It was during Moyes era so it was not positive. I heard one lad say 'someone needs give them a kick up the arse' so I turned and said 'aye, what the ****s Bally doing these days!' as I turned fully the 3 lads were taking to Bally who was fitting his own kitchen and picking up the handles. Had a laff and a long chat about Duncan Watmore. Legend. Fitting his own kitchen!
He lives in a nice spot in Chester Le street
The good news keeps coming then haha, sad to see him leave but he should have been doing something in the academy anyway.
He halved Methven in a 5-a-side game and old Salmon Pants used his influence to get him sacked is what I heard. KLD didn't want to do it but Methven reminded him who really runs the club and he shat his pants and agreed

Bet his data stats weren't the best but we could have done with him in midfield lately.
Heard him tell a good tale about hitting his own bar against Newcastle. (if you weren't there worth checking youtube vid)
Dived in full blooded for a tackle, Ball flew into the air towards our goal.
He's flat out and hears Alex Rae say "****ing hell its in". Looks up to see the ball bouncing off the bar.

Reading between the lines - he didn’t return after being furloughed and the club never announced he hadn’t returned.
I guess somebody might have asked last night what he was doing, been told he’d gone, and the club had realised nothing had been announced. So decided to announce this morning rather than have it be revealed in some minutes.
So if thats the case, whilst disappointing they didn’t give him a proper send off at the time, at least they’ve tried to correct that by announcing it properly now rather than have it come out in some administrative document
