Last full season at Boothferry Park - Att 6,684

First full season at the KC - 12, 843

On that basis, half the people who've watched every game at the KC are also plastics.

It's all very subjective.

And fairly pointless.

Agree about the tickets issue though - the club needs to get that sorted over the summer. Trawl their database and reward those with 'history'

Unfortunately that would be just as unfair as having no system at all, someone could have gone to 10 away games last season and paid on the gate for them all, another person could have only gone to Barnsley but bought through the club, the person that went to one game would get priority.

If you’re going to have a scheme people need to know about it before it's implemented so they can buy their tickets accordingly.

As it's already been mentioned, last time in the PL if you applied on the first day there was very good chance you'd get them anyway.

In which case the additional fans will prevent us from losing £1.4m on the previous season income.

Yeah I know, there was no point to my post I was just showing that it doesn't really make us money from ticket sales unless we increase the capacity.

How are people supposed to start supporting a football club without being outed as plastic or not a real fan? Wait until they drop down a division or two?

The more fans the better IMO, some just want to feel part of the elite, rather than just see us gain more fans

Not being elitist Lukas. The last time we went up i'd waited 40 years for it and was ecstatic that we'd got there. When I tried to get tickets for the games, no frigging chance. After waiting all those years I saw three games we was up there and that was because of friends who had season passes who couldn't get to those games and lent me their passes. I don't expect any difference in the next season because of the glory supporters, who will abandon the Club if we come down.

I was a season pass holder for years before we went up the first time going home and away. But because I got a job working around the Country and it wasn't financially viable to keep my season pass, I missed out on what i'd been waiting for all my City life.

How do you know those people aren't regular fans who are just wearing their shirts outside of matchdays at the moment because they are celebrating promotion.

I don't like this "Our Club" attitude. We were all new to supporting City at one time. Yes, there will be the Glory-hunters and hangers on, but if we are going to grow the Club and establish it as a Premiership regular then we also have to grow the support, especially the kids.
Well said Strovo, I don't mind band wagon riders they add to the party, even if I can't get on.

Are they not the averages for the season where we were split between the two grounds?

If not we only got 12,843 as our average when we got promoted from D3? I could have sworn there was only about 1,000 difference in the attendances between that D3 season and our first promotion to the PL.
