Apparently negotiations have stalled because Lyon want 10 million Euros for Gomis. We are only willing to offer around 5 or 6 million Euros

10m euros for a player out of contract at the end of this season? Is Aulas smoking crack?
As well as the issue of the initial fee isn't he on good wages? 60 to 70k per week
You can keep up-to date with the conflicting stories, with regards to Gomis, here:

To be fair to the club I think they have every right not to bid the 10 million euros being asked. Given his contract situation I'd say our reported bid of 6.9 million is a fair one and should be our final offer.

If you take a cynical position you have to wonder why this transfer has been played out, even to the point of figures discussed, in the media.
A stark contrast with previous signings. You could, of course, cite that it is the other side that is leaking details but (and this is a big but) NUFC officials are also talking to media outlets.
There are numerous inconsistencies that are appearing in recent media reports.
Look at HBA. Less than a week ago we were told - by the club - that his fitness level has never been higher.
Today, we are told HBA's exclusion from the friendly is due to him being back at Benton working on his fitness.
If you are going to be a good liar you have to be consistent in your stories and remember them. Tripping up on either of these attributes and you just look stupid.
A word that, I think, fits our current management structure simply because they think/hope we, the paying public, are stupid.
