All credit to the club for listening to the fans. Looks a lot better.

Big thumbs up to the club for this. Much nicer shirt, and it doesn't seem to have affected the release date a great deal if it's out this Tuesday!

I emailed the club as well, linking in the thread about sponsorship/gash looking box on the away top. I've just had an email back from the George Hudson at the club, it's probably a generic one sent to everyone who emailed them but it's nice to feel our opinion mattered on this.

Much better, think I'll go and wind the QPR fans up about our club listening to the fans on this one. Still think it'd be better with the adidas logo/stripes in black though, just to bring it inline with the sponsor a bit more and be more like our old centenary away kit.

Did everyone who emailed to complaint get the same email back from the club yesterday?

    Hi OLM,

We’ve talked with the good people of Cash Converters about the black background on the away shirt (it has to be on the home one or you’d not really see their logo because of the stripes, and they are paying a lot for the privilege!) and they’ve been very receptive to our wishes. The result is that we have a smart looking ‘new’ new away shirt – its picture is up on our web site now.

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and apologies about the delayed response, but we didn’t want to say anything until we had something concrete to say.

    Best wishes,
    George

Shirt looks so much better. I wanted one before but refused to have the ugly black patch on it, I will buy one now, shirt looks great but Cash Converters can still suck balls.
