I haven’t been to a City match in a while, although it’s not because I don’t want to. I would love to be there every match if possible. ATM though through illness and if I go to a match it costs me 300 (fuel, tickets, food & drink etc.) minimum. It’s one of the reasons, not the main reason, but a big consideration as to why I’m really considering moving back down so I can go to more matches, well a lot more.
I watch the vast majority on the stream

Am I? How many times have you paid to watch a game live in a stadium this season?
To be fair he might have done that a lot, but someone following a team from another country isn’t the target really.

If there was no live televised football then more people from the same area would go instead of staying at home, or even pub and watching it in telly. How more many, I don’t know, but it wouldn’t be less that’s for sure

It would have to be world. Wide .
You would also ebd up with run down stadiums that people wouldn't be happy going to .
Of course it would have to be worldwide, that’s why I said ‘all’

I’m not sure how you could prove about stadiums

It’s not happening anyway though…don’t worry

Proves nothing you utter ****er. I bought a season pass and went to 13 matches home and away when I was over there. It also has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of discussion.
Calm down soft lad, it's everything to do with the discussion. If all the games are broadcast live into your living room then it's only a matter of time before fans stop going to stadiums.
Teams at the top of their various leagues will still attract a crowd whilst its on the telly but what about the rest of the football league ladder?

The televising of games will clearly have zero impact on the game attendance of someone who lives 10,700 miles from the stadium.

Exactly, my reply wasn't aimed at fans thousands of miles away in Oz, (Sydney whatisname) but he thought it was, it was meant for those in the Hull area. Put City on the telly every game and the the attendance in the stadium on a matchday would drop. The diehards would still turn up but the ground would be half empty.

May have been said before on here but it’s ****ing pathetic where I sit in the south stand with people leaving early.

I don’t buy all the bullshit excuses either. Leaving at 88 minutes rather than 93 minutes is a ****’s trick. Stay and clap the team off.

Also, it makes no sense for the players to go to the north stand first at the end. The north stand supporters will wait for them to come over. The players should go the west, south and east first and actually force the supporters who are filing out to acknowledge them. Then go to the north stand for the celebratory cheers etc.

I’ll be rushing straight from Walt Jnr’s football training to the match. Last time we just about made kick off.
Lewie Coyle of all people arranged a tournament for elite level grassroots clubs in the area. We were invited and accepted. The fixtures were then sent. Game 1 11am kick off on the same day of a City game 12:30pm kick off.

We withdrew!!!
