Obviously we're at the top here, but what I found absolutely astounding that Fleetwood....3,006
    Burton..under 3,000
    Accrington Stanley...under 3,000
are all able to compete quite well at this level. Fleetwood, despite the Wum manager are performing incredibly.

our support is amazing given all the cr4p that has been thrown at them. We seem to lurch from one crisis to another yet they still turn up in their thousands. I can't think (other than the Mags) of a premier league side who would have such crowds given all this club has put its fans through in the last few decades

Bolton considering their predicament are holding up well. Hats off.

    incredible support as usual.
in fact our away support pretty well matches the home support of some at the bottom of that list.

Our attendances are more than all those teams attendances on that pic combined. It's the "Sunderland Disease". It's well known in the game, (just ask Charlie Methven),and is a direct cause of two successive relegations and failure to get promoted last season :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Credit to Ipswich as well, that’s mightily impressive for a small town club that’s been in decline for longer even than us.

30k plus is mind boggling, we really are a bunch of basket cases ain’t we hah.

Is that Coventry figure correct? Even playing in Brum, that's ****ing disgraceful if true, considering where they are......

is these clubs biggest attendance against us ? interesting if in most cases, we should get 36,000+ on saturday, about the same vs Fleetwood and Peterborough 40,000 + and continue going up if we keep winning. Brums capacity is about 25,000 so can we take about 10,000 and turn it into a home game, i think it is televised as well.

I'm not arsed about attendances. Just because you have more or less that goes through the turnstiles it doesn't mean you are any 'better' or 'worse' than other teams. Im far more concerned about results and I don't like the way some posters over the road continually take the piss out of so called 'smaller' clubs

Like you I cannot be bothered with we get more fans than you malarkey. I attend a lot of away games and feel humbled when we are in our hundreds at a sevice station and someone like Hartlepool turn up with a dozen or so in a transit.

Thing is. Even if it is a small turnout, you can bet camaraderie is just as strong if not stronger

I'm passed regular away games, but am envious of those who follow the lads as they do in great numbers.
I greatly admire the smaller clubs whose fans are just as important to their clubs as ours are to us.
On Tuesday Barrow were at home to Dover, who brought a few fans with them, fancy making that journey on a wet and windy Tuesday night, that's real support for you.
It's in the blood and once your hooked it's very difficult to turn your back on YOUR club.
