I'd agree that it would certainly make it hard to find a manager, but surely we could get some sort of manager whatever the circumstances? If it was Bruce/McCarthy then I'd suggest it isn't true because they wouldn't want to **** about with such a crap job, but I don't see it being either of them anyway, so I still believe what I've heard.

And as a result we go bust, then we have only got our cynical, negative, hate filled, moaning fans to blame.

How many of us would do a perfect job at running a football club? Especially one that has haemorrhaged such a massive financial loss?

I reckon all of those who have slagged the Allams off would get a lot if things wrong and be targeted just the same.

Not really, I would say we have owners to blame who have thrown their toys out of the pram as they have not been gifted the KC and didn't have a yes-man as a manager to suck their balls

I am not surprised about him wanting to be loved. I have said from the beginning of the Barmby saga that the reason he got really annoyed with Nick is that Allam is a man who likes to be well thought of and to be put on a pedestal, I think this is half the reason he puts a lot into the charity work he does, it is very generous of him but he enjoys the attention it brings him. This is why when Nick began suggesting in interviews that all that Allam said was not to be believed he was ruthless enough to get rid of him, it was the ego of Mr Allam that cost Barmby the Manager's job. As for the scouting thing. I think it is probably true. Whoever we get as manager will have to put up with the Allam's choosing the players. They have been successful in everything they have done and in their eyes they don't see why that success shouldn't come in football as well, they want to do it on their own in their own way.

Getting a bit tired of this from you.

In answer to your question, if I were to find myself the owner of a football Club, I'll tell you the very last thing I would do, the last thing would be to sack everyone that had a wealth of experience about running a football club.

i dont doubt they want to do the best for the club , city and the fans but micro managing a football team isnt ever popular and i cant see us getting a respectable manager if this is all true.

    edit
just found it was Souness who signed Weahs "cousin" for Southampton LOL - we could get a similar clanger

I am beginning to think that posters like Docko are not actually City fans, they just deliberately target these threads just to wind people up. I might believe in them more if they changed their stance slightly depending on the post but it is always the same, blind faith and the certainty that they are right. Even with my feelings on the Allams I have been quite willing to admit that I think they have done a good job with the new ticket system but these trolls will never admit that they are even slightly worried or concerned about anything.

If he did do this then what a gift to the people of Hull! Any kudos from saving the club would go out of the window and he might do well to start pouring philathropic money into other projects an order of magnitude higher than he is doing at the moment.

FAO: B_C_C There are companies out there that specialise in seeking out value. And even a film made about such things.

The only problem is that if everyone is utilising the same database then doesn't that mean every team will be after the same players and the wealthiest teams will buy up the most valuable players auction-esque.

It's strange what you hear and from whom. I heard the both the Allams know the implications of the Barmby sacking and are making sure the next appointment is correct. Was also told not to expect anything soon as they hadn't even conducted interviews, as of last Wednesday, despite media reports. The only person to be told a definite no was Paul Ince! They know fans where annoyed at the sacking but they was left with no choice. Also, if what I have heard is correct there may be one more person leaving the back room staff in the not so distant future. I've heard that other clubs have been in touch and asked how we managed to get rid of so many people yet still run the club as we do, and finish where we have! Including a few premiership clubs asking for advise! It a depends who you believe I suppose!

One thing that springs to mind when reading this is that the Allams might use the fans as an excuse when they pull out of the club, which would be a complete disgrace. We can speculate on the real reasons , including the non-sale of the KC primarily. They put such an emphasis on buying the stadium that you have to think that this is what they wanted out of the club, everything associated with that sale. It's a shame some fans feel they have to toady to these people out of fear that they might pull out of the club.

I know you know my feelings on the various aspects of the club so leaving that aside....someone who isn't actually your mate, has an intimate and in depth personal but business conversation with the Allams, then shared the details of said conversation with you? Someone who is not his mate?

If the Allams DID have that conversation with him, I imagine it was in confidence, which means to me at best your not-a-mate is an untrustworthy gossip and at worst, this is just more made up stuff that does noone any favours.

This is just more, unhelpful, **** stirring, moaning crap which I just do not get at all. Why is it so hard to appreciate what we have, and support the club, including the owners? If they DID leave I wouldn't blame them in the slightest. They didnt do what they did for hero worship but surely, even if gratitude is too much, just not actually hating on them isn't too much to ask?

I'd be worried Madhog that they would blame the fans instead of their failed business plans and it seems some like Docko could write the script for them

Maybe if Pappa told the fans why Nick had gone, why Adam had gone, and whats taking so long to appoint a manager then maybe we'd start to understand and he might then feel loved.
As regards the manager situation didnt someone say Bruce was on holiday till wednesday? Might explain the delay a little.......anyway must dash got to install Football Manager 2012 on Pappa's laptop to help with the scouting, if he asks ill swap my list of wonderkids for a generator:tongue:

Where did the OP slag the Allams off exactly?

It just read like an innocent statement of what he'd heard, written in an objective style.

This is what annoys me about all these posters blindly following the Allams at the moment. They have every right to their opinion... AS DO WE... but if you try to make a point, raise an issue or share a thought, if it isn't 100% behind the Allams they latch onto it, blow it all out of proportions and exadgerate your words to make it sound like you hate the owners.

    Very tiresome.

On another note, the quote for the manager announcement was Wednesday AT THE EARLIEST so where "We'll have a manager by Wednesday" has come from, I have no idea!
