No it’s not being hypocritical whatsoever. It’s quite ridiculous to say so. Joe was playing badly for a long time and displaying no sign of talent and did not have an injury and was unwell. Criticising him was valid. He improved and I acknowledged that fact. Max has played poorly recently after having played above the standard of the team for most of his time here. He has been injured and unwell recently including being played when the manager said he wasn’t fit to play. I’ve not claimed he’s played well recently but the criticism of him IMO was OTT especially given he wasn’t well and see injured. To suggest he is s***e shows an inability to understand football and players. Notice the difference? Now from those facts show me the hypocrisy. I’ll save you the time, you can’t .
