And I would say we are identifying someone good players
De Wijs Burke Silva elder and others
Give some of the others another season

There has been some good recruitment, but there has also been bad. Remains to be seen what comes of the current crop but there seems to be a few with a bit of potential.

Just noticed that transfermarkt have the value of the club at about 27 million. I checked it in January and it was about 46 million from memory, which wasn't too far away from the 50m quoted before the window.

Almost like the reduction equates to a sale of assetts / players...

Must admit I'm not sure how they come to that value, it may just be their estimation of the total worth of the squad - which as we don't own our ground or other significant assets is possibly a fair reflection. You might expect the value of the business to take into account the 15m guaranteed future income from the sales though.

Quite possibly, though I don't really know how long the current strategy has been pursued in earnest. Silva/slutsky signings seemed more to do with retaining or swiftly re- attaining PL status than future development of players.

But it would be a start
And it would say even with poor owners the fans back the club
Now we’re back to just be seen as a **** supported club and soon it’ll be back where we belong in the third division

Some clubs in the third division get loads of supporters, doesn't mean they will get promoted or sold.

There always will be good and bad, no club gets it right every time.

Yeah , Slutsky seems to have been a fairly popular manager considering how bad the team and some of his signings were

Never easy trying to restructure after relegation. Looking at his win ratio, his spell with us stands out as by far the worst in his career.

Well, that's 20 minutes of my life wasted listening to that, the only thing to come out of it, which I did say about 2 years ago on here was that Ehab, after seeing Robbo and Harry make money for the club when sold, he wanted to become a trading club. So what I heard then has just been proved correct.

They say they are still wanting to sell, but in reality there here to stay, unless someone comes in with an offer they can't refuse.

Seems the top and bottom of it.. Like the next ****s that eventually take over - they'll either sell or go bust too. Since when has it been different?

Still got a choice to support the lads pulling on the shirt or not though. You either do or you don't. Your choice.

Sadly feels were destined for a re-run of the later 'fer ark' years. Where the only constant is wishy-washy support and even less inspiring management.

Yipee.

We did brilliantly out of Bruce’s signings, but on all the players signed since then, isn’t the £800k for Grosicki the only fee we’ve got?

And Stan Ternant, he was the main scout and instigator at the time, bar Bowen who was Pennock. This is the biggest frustration at the club Ehab thinks how marvellous he has done selling all these players, when in fact it’s all down to Bruce and said people. When the gravy train ends I don’t trust Darnborough and the dart board approach. From the signings in the summer only
Elder and Lopes look decent, the rest will have no re sale value, Scott looks exciting too but time will tell.

Also if we are trading club what’s the Maddison signing all about. Obviously he’s talented but a 6 figure sum for 4/5 months game time isn’t decent business.

What dartboard appproach?
That’s just ridiculous we’re signing professional footballers ffs. With the potential to play In the championship and higher.
