stupid question alert - is Tony Carson related to Willie?
Not 100% sure as it could be coincidence, but Willie does have a son called Anthony. Tony Carson makes no mention of a connection on his website, but that may be deliberate.

The Free Library mentions the name "Tony" as Willie's son.
There's also another grandson called Graham who rides.
You could be asking the wrong question in my case. I usually get it but have decided to go every second year.I’ve got my 2020 copy of the Return of Mares now so do yell if you want any stats or specific checks.

Well here's the first lotMore than happy to help out, I’ve got it at home with me.
Thanks so much for all that, that's really helpful. Other than RoM I can use the GBBR website, but of course that only lists GB issue and fillies. Hence your comments on French foals is really helpful. For some reason the BCup site seems late in registering foals this year. Yes there's an Aurore (US) as well as Aurore(GB).Momentary - no records
Daphne - no issue. Covered by Dubawi
Daring Aim - no records
Hypoteneuse - no issue. Covered by Zoustar
Golden Stream - no records (found a filly by Dubawi born in France so guessing she’s over there)
Pure Fantasy - no records (Found a filly by Australia born in France so guessing she is there)
Aurore - no records (think she’s in USA as I can find a foal by Collected searching online)
Sequence - no issue. Covered by Ulysses
Diploma- no issue. Covered by Frankel
Super Sleuth - no records
Brief Visit - no issue. Covered by Territories
Crikey that's fantastic pN. I was expecting it in a couple of weeks!
Well, they've used some faster sires but surprise. surprise they're Highclere sires. Those 3 I queried are Royal horses I'm not sure if she sold or died.
Hope Cliveden have some luck with their foalings next year.
Can't thank you enough.
But is he potent? In the last two RoMs he had a whole pile of double coverings. It looked as if he was firing too many blanks. Don’t know how many foals he had this year but he had poor 2018 and 2019 figures.Yes I did raise my eyebrows at the number of Cable Bay and Land Force matings. How convenient that Her Majesty has mares whose most compatible mating turned out to be sires stood by her racing manager!
That said I actually like Cable Bay a lot and think he’s pretty good value.
I guess the deal is that if there’s a colt who becomes worth standing then Coolmore, Godolphim etc. have the major share.I’d also take a guess that the major name coverings are freebies/foal shares. Can’t imagine it would go down well if the general public knew HM was splashing €650,000 a time on 3 Galileo matings, not to mention the Dubawi/Frankel/Kingman covers!
